The Montague on the Gardens

This is a lovely, welcoming hotel in a perfect location, easy walking distance to Covent Garden, Soho, and the West End. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and provide excellent service. Considering its location it is very quiet and along with the excellent bed and bedding gave us both an excellent nights sleep. The food we had was very nice, well presented and good value for money. The bar, which we used a lot, was well staffed and made some excellent cocktails (other drinks are available!). We had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again on our next trip to London.

We had such a fabulous evening at the montague. Location is ideal for tourists or londoners looking for a night out in central. From arrival the reception team were so friendly and really set the tone for our stay. The room was gorgeous and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the terrace and lounge especially the live music to enjoy along with our Saturday night drinks. But the main thing we could not stop talking about was the impeccable hospitality from all of the staff - a special thank you to Melissa and Everett for a truly lovely evening and memorable stay! We hope to be back soon

We stayed in London the first week of March and chose this hotel based on its ratings for cleanliness, the area, its proximity to the city center, and because it was described as typically English. Well, the Montague Hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff is professional, attentive to every guest's needs, the room is impeccably clean, and the service is excellent. The breakfast is a generous buffet, and above all, the staff is attentive to every need and goes out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction. Upon arrival, the atmosphere is typically English, and you're immediately immersed in the London spirit. The location, just steps from the British Museum, is perfect. Furthermore, it's just one tube stop from St Pancras station, where Eurostar trains from Europe arrive. Both upon our arrival and departure, we were welcomed and greeted by Omari, who was professional and extremely kind. That's why we remember his name, but all our other colleagues were equally wonderful. We don't want to forget any of them! We can't wait to return to this hotel on our next visit to London.

We stayed 3 nights in March 2026 and had a great experience. Charming hotel in central London with excellent service and a standout breakfast. Convenient location, walkable to eateries and near bus options. We would definitely stay again.
