My husband and I stayed the night at Nobu in Shoreditch. It was part of a Japanese themed treat. We had the best stay! On arrival we were welcomed by Engin, he was so friendly and helpful, even giving us a drinks voucher to celebrate our special occasion. We had cocktails in the bar which were amazing and really unusual. Our room was thoughtfully designed. Breakfast was delicious as well with a fantastic buffet. We would definitely stay again.

My stay at Nobu has been wonderful. The location is great. And despite having construction across the street, the noise has been minimal. Some rooms could use some more lighting, especially on the lower floors, but the rooms are modern and chic. But the best part of the experience has been the staff. First, Errol, the concierge, has been lovely. He is extremely helpful and has a kind manner about him. He even saved my passport (it fell while moving rooms)! And the woman at the front desk, Rebeeca, was also very accommodating with helping to change my room. Overall a good experience. Great staff can really make a difference in one's travel experience.

This hotel was nice, but definitely not £400 a night nice. We have always heard that the Nobu is a top class hotel and we were excited to stay here and we were even upgraded to an executive room when we paid for a deluxe. However, I dread to think what a deluxe room would be if executive was what we stayed in. I understand London prices are higher than other areas, but this was not worth the money at all . It was a very small room with a view of Flats opposite us making the room dark and not much privacy. I would not be staying at this hotel again, especially with these prices . The only positive of this hotel was the bar area . We also viewed the gym facilities and they are very basic for a five star hotel. Staff were friendly, but we will not be returning.

My son and I stayed here for my birthday. The staff I encountered went above and beyond. It is a shame I did not take names for the individuals, however any tiny issues I encountered were rectified immediately. One gentleman from reception ensured I received my luggage and also provided complimentary drinks and aided in a seamless check out. The restaurant reception staff and waitresses were also incredibly lovely and gave me and my son a lovely booth and experience. I would recommend to others celebrating. The only constructive feedback to the hotel would be to check-in reception staff to be proactive when it is someone’s special day and not wait to be asked.

Poor doesn't even begin to describe this hotel. The atmosphere upon arrival was something akin to a Chekhov novel, it was like entering into a space where an argument had just taken place. It took a total of 45 mins to check in, the staff need training urgently as this is not acceptable. Due to the incompetence of the front of house we were offered an upgrade to a suite, the chap that was given the master card could not open the door to our suite so he proceeded to run at the door and force it open with his shoulder! We had just arrived from Rio de Janeiro and at first were amused by the complete lack of hospitality and professionalism but this was soon eroded by the utter rudeness of the staff. Essentially they tried to compensate their lack of training with sheer rudeness. After a total calamity of bad service and poor behaviour I asked to speak to the manager, a man with long hair who had the charisma of a mortician. He refused to tell me his name and at that point we left the hotel and after travelling for 23 hours we felt it wise to move to a different hotel (The Rosewood) a far superior operation that excels in hospitality. This is a stain on the Nobu brand and need's rectifying immediately. Shockingly poor.
