Located in the former Morning Post newspaper building, designed by star-architects Charles Mewes and Arthur Davis, One Aldwych is a stunning hotel with a striking contemporary design. Ideally located in the heart of London’s theater district, it is a short walk from the shops and restaurants of the capital’s bustling West End and close to the financial district.

Excellent experience. Everything from the service to the rooms and amenities were top notch. Pleasantly surprised at how large the rooms are relative to comparable hotels. And the location makes it easy to walk around the heart of London. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a luxurious but warm experience.

The hotel was conveniently located, the rooms were clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. Every staff member we encountered was extremely accomodating, pleasant, helpful.

Completely outstanding. The attention to detail is beyond compare. Without doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Quite exceptional!

These are this kind of hotels that spoil me and are the reason why I always have something to complain about when I am somewhere else. After 5 nights, when I don’t want to leave, this is a very good sign of how I feel about this place. And what makes the difference? > Sleep quality: Even though the hotel is very centrally located, on both visits I slept very well. > Quality of food: London, Covent Garden and One Aldwych are a mecca for foodies. Great in-room dining menu, with so much to offer, great choice for vegetarians. I enjoyed it every time with meals like in a top restaurant but in the comfort of own room and with London panorama. > The staff: Like elsewhere, the people make the difference. Most of the staff has a very positive attitude and they care very much about the guests. > The location: You are just a stone throw away from theaters and nightlife, but on the other side you have the direct access to the river with all it has to offer and additionally, it's not far from the parks, so you can enjoy great walks. 2 underground stations near by bring you everywhere you want to go. > The room: Generous in size for London standards (deluxe category), the rooms are cozy and well furbished and you don’t have the feel of a hotel room, in a positive way. The lighting can be easily adjusted to your liking and it's also great the windows can be opened for fresh air. > Services: All services are very efficient, whether it is room cleaning or laundry service. You also notice many things during your stay, which make a difference. > The bar: Has almost always a great atmosphere and in my opinion, the best cappuccino in London. I appreciate those little gestures like there is unlimited bottled water provided. The One Aldwych water tastes great and the solution is good for the environment. There are many other things that could be mentioned but better is to experience it by yourself. A special thanks goes to Mr. Gregorio, he again elevated my experience in a significant way.

This is truly special hotel with truly special staff. It was my 5th time there and this tells everything. The style and facilities - just perfect. Luxurious yet not overwhelming. It is like coming to my second home in the heart of London.
