One Aldwych

We booked this hotel for a visit to the Royal Opera house. As I’m wheat intolerant the restaurant was great especially Sunday lunch. The room was clean and lovely and the the hotel had a wonderful art collection, covent garden was only a five minute walk away. There was a lovely lounge for residents and the staff were most helpful. We also arranged a car to collect us from Heathrow and that all went well. We thoroughly recommend this hotel, it did not disappoint.

The room was extremely comfortable and well equipped, albeit a little small while sharing with a teen! The food and service was excemplary. A overall wonderful stay.

Our travel agent booked us. We would never have found this by ourselves...It was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful facility, excellent service. Will definitely stay there again.

I cannot say whether the hotel has been recently refurbished or simply maintained with exceptional care, but the suite we stayed in was immaculate. The thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, a complimentary minibar with snacks, the welcoming sweet‑and‑savory mix, and the 'handwritten' note made the experience feel very special. I also want to acknowledge the wonderfully diverse team working there. The range of nationalities represented brings a depth of professionalism through their dedication to their craft. The restaurant is bijou yet extremely comfortable, with an intimate feel and beautifully presented, delicious food. The bar area shifts effortlessly from a relaxed daytime café vibe to an evening atmosphere reminiscent of an American styled cocktail bar, stylish, warm, and inviting. Lastly the library area was a welcome chillout area only available to hotel guest which was a really nice touch in the multiple seating area to simply hangout & unwind.

Wonderful gluten free options, does not appear that restaurant is completely gluten free anymore but was safe for my celiac child. Was noisy facing Strand on a Saturday night- request upper level floor or room not facing Strand if you are sensitive to noise for sleep quality! Helpful staff. excellent clean gym.
