Where do I start stayed with park plaza before and this is the worse and I don’t think I will return. Booked 2 rooms so not a cheap weekend Save the planet is just a gimmick for hotel to save money cleaning your room Had to as for Towels Toilet roll ( not filled from previous people ) Tea/coffee Room was still dirty and food from previous people in draw And thought would still get our bed serviced Check in was hard work and told had river view (not true) shower leaked so had to use towel to clean wet floor Went down to reception and told a manager will be in touch ( did not hear from him all weekend ) We spent nearly £800 for a birthday weekend and don’t think anyone really cared they might off been busy but this is no excuse, we come to London about 5 times a year and this is by far the worse hotel experience we have had a many years, things go wrong in hotels all the time but I always say it’s how the problem is felt with and this is why it gets a 1 star as it was not dealt with in any way by the staff or management Very poor experience and feel very let down and feel it is let’s take there money and not worry about the experience they have

We have stayed in a lot of good hotels in London and this one certainly didn’t live up to our expectations, This was a very special family getaway so I chose this hotel as it had some good reviews. I’ve noticed that there has been some quite low scores over the bank holiday weekend so I think something went seriously wrong with the service, room cleaning and the breakfast experience. We were told we had a river view and our adult children had a city view when we entered our room we could see the smallest part of the river and we would have to go into the corner of the window to spot it! Our children’s city view was actually the railway track which was very disappointing as I don’t think you could’ve had a poorer outlook! We noticed that there were crisps biscuits and pepperoni sticks in the bottom drawer, on closer inspection we realised that the room hadn’t been cleaned properly and this had been left by a previous customer which isn’t really acceptable. The shower dial was broken and you had to hold your hand on it to turn it on and off as it was flapping about and at times it was quite hard to turn. The body lotion was empty and the television didn’t work properly, The breakfast wasnt great either And I feel we paid a high premium for a very poor experience

Hotel was busy. Plenty of check-in staff to cope. Breakfast was very busy with some people waiting to gain access to the buffet breakfast. Need more staff to replenish mugs, coffee machines and boiling water for tea as they only has a small urn! Room 620 backs onto a pair of lifts and the noise (rumble) transmits to the room.

The pool wasn't very clean. Looked nice from afar but once you got in you could see the build up under the edge on the wall & underneath the water. It had a smell to it as well. Rooms could use more detail clean. Won't go into detail but there is room for improvement. Lovely hotel staff, wonderful people. Just expected more cleanliness. In my opinion, breakfast pricing was not worth it. Paid £38 for 2 adults & it was a basic hotel spread for a high end looking hotel. Expected more. Beautiful hotel once you walk in, set at a great location. Just needs improvement is all. Wish we hadn't spent what we did but it didnt ruin our stay. We still had a good time.
