Reviews for Sea Containers London

Outstanding!

While it is not my first stay in this hotel, it is really impressive to see how the high standards are consistently being reserved. My experience with this hotel is simply great! Starting with the welcoming and friendly service by ALL team members, going through the spacious and comfort room, the great restaurants and bars (and the breakfast of course!), and the location which is perfect. By all means, this is one of the best hotels I ever visited, and not only in London. Highly recommended!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The view of the Thames was spectacular. The location was convenient. The breakfast was amazing.

Nice hotel, great location for most things in London.

Great location, really good choice at breakfast, nice room. Service at dinner was appalling and vegan menu poor. Mentioned it and they were apologetic, I had to take the service charges off the bill. Room was clean and spacious, good value too.

Work Summit Trip-4 night stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

It's a great location. The interior is far more desirable than the exterior. It's hip and energetic. You are always greeted by people when you walk in, or walk by management. It has all the amenities, many of which I didn't use. but they were there. The cons-the base room is VERY small. Our group summit had approx 30 rooms reserved and most reserved tthe standard room. We heard they were so small, guests were asking staff to remove furniture from the room just so they could get around and have their luggage organized. I have traveled Europe alot and knew this might be the case, so I reserved the superior room, and am very glad I did. It wasn't super roomy, and the storage was not great, but we were comfortable walking around and didn't feel cramped. The stuff that was needs improvement... First soap dishes in the bathroom- there isn't one for your soap! You have this big awkward vanity and sink, with no soap dish, so it's messy every day, all day. In addition, there are no rings or hooks for handtowels, so they fall off the awkward vanity. There is space for it, but there is nothing. They were stingy with toilet paper. We had enough, but by the time we left each morning, we were praying we wouldn't run out and were rationing. There is plenty of room for them to leave back up, but nothing. And the water in the room.. Uggh. When you arrive you have a neatly appointed room, with a large bottle of water, which I assume we paid for, as well as a mini fridge with a sparkling and still small bottle. We drank the large bottle, and the small still from the fridge immediatley, and in 4 days, they were never replaced! It sounds like nothing, but it is a big deal when you want water, and you don't have any, IN 4 DAYS. Plus they charge big $ for the water, so it's an area for profitablity for them. But not have it as a convenience for me and my husband was so aggravating. It is a nice hotel, but for the price, I'd think a few of these small issues would not be there, and can be rectified. Not sure I'd stay there again, but I can't say that I WON'T recommend. There are always little differences anywhere in Europe, but these were basic ones that any hotel, no matter how small or big, could attend to.

Would 100% book again

Fantastic hotel, well priced. Would 100% stay again. It is a great location, 20 minute walk on the southbank to the London eye. Breakfast was really nice and great quality. Staff made us feel welcome and interacted great with our young daughter.
