Situated on the banks of the River Thames in the famed Sea Containers building, Sea Containers London uniquely offers river view balcony suites directly on the Thames. Working with Design Research Studio under the creative direction of renowned British designer Tom Dixon, the hotel captures the essence of the original building, exuding 1920s cruise ship glamour integrated with modern twists and sophisticated design.

Location is perfect on South Bank, just outside the crowds but still very close to everything. Lobby and common areas were nice, room itself looked nice but functionally left something to be desired. Water station on our floor was a very nice touch, bring a water bottle.

We stayed in interconnecting family rooms (one double, one twin) with a view of the Thames (albeit across the neighbouring buildings, but it was still a cool view). The rooms were well set up with plenty of space for us. Staff were all very helpful. I loved the message board in the lobby area. We had a couple of drinks in the rooftop bar, which had a good atmosphere. The hotel is very well located and the room rate was reasonable for such a room set-up in central London. The air con worked well to heat the rooms and there was no noise from the corridor or other rooms. The free water dispenser was useful too. We decided not to have breakfast at the hotel as it wasn't included in our Black Friday room rate, and so it was cheaper to eat in the local cafes/pubs.

Another (3rd) fantastic stay at Sea Containers and we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay again. Same clean, modern rooms, friendly and efficient service and location perfect for everything we needed. Love the hotel, will stay again for sure.

Great location and good facilities and helpful staff but we had booked three rooms, one of them being a Patio Room that smelled of Cigarette Smoke. Clearly staff had tried to overcome the smell by air freshener and keeping the air con on but this not work. Best to avoid the patio rooms.

We went as a family between Xmas and New Year to visit London and had wanted to stay here on previous visits. The hotel is in a fantastic location, on the river with a view of St.Pauls Cathedral and other sights whilst you eats in the gorgeous restaurant. We stayed in a family room which was smaller than envisaged but well appointed with everything you need. The staff were really helpful and friendly and made us feel instantly at ease. Very clean hotel and as a 5 star you'd expect to pay more. However the cost of breakfast for children is the same as for adults, which I felt was a little much, bearing in mind how little kids eat. Other than that it was a wonderful stay in a great part of London and we can't wait to return.
