Best luxury hotel to stay at if you are visiting London. Rooms are nice; service is intimate; friendly staff; unbeatable location (right next to London Bridge Station, easiest access to anywhere by tube or by train); and also very close to the well-known Borough Market. Won't stay at another hotel.

Excellent experience in my recent stay from quality of rooms to service. Great location next to London Bridge Terminal for train and bus. Views from rooms, bar and restaurant were priceless Definitely worth another trip!

We booked here for 4 nights as a wedding anniversary holiday. We thought it was fantastic, all the staff were amazing and very kindhearted, we had room 3604 and it didn’t disappoint, fabulous view of tower bridge and the Tower of London. The rooms were spotlessly clean and have everything you need. Can not wait to return again one day

We were bought a voucher for brunch at The Shangri La at The Shard by our children as a Christmas gift last year. I have bought vouchers before and don’t really like using them as staff can be quite dismissive and in some cases rude. Not today. The staff at The Shangri La are lovely. From the security at reception to the staff in the restaurant we were really impressed. So warm and friendly. Usman, our waiter was lovely. He recommended the crab pancakes and roast beef and he was right. It was delicious. There was a wait for the beef so he invited us to make use of the buffet. I would say there were at least 10 cheeses to choose from with various breads and a delicious honey and truffle dressing. We also had a glass of Veuve Cliquot each. The view over the Tower of London is impressive. We spent an hour and a half eating lovely food, nibbling in between courses and drinking fine champagne. What’s not to love? But mostly, please pass on our thanks to Usman and the team. Great service. We live in Gloucestershire but will definitely have Sunday brunch at the ShangriLa, perhaps next time with our adult children. Thanks again.

Our stay at this hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to London. Amazing views from our room and the common areas. Close to major attractions. Very nice high tea. Excellent and responsive service. I would definitely stay here again.
