Shangri-La The Shard, London

We went to the obelisk restaurant for afternoon tea to celebrate our anniversary, just wanted to say what a wonderful experience it was. Fantastic views, service was outstanding. Thanks mainly to our waiter Benjamin and Jordan one of the managers who made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be revisiting in the future.

Lovely location that is next to Borough Market and Bermondsey Road for really nice bites m, bars and cafes. Hotel bed is comfy and the rooms have a nice view of the city, it gets really beautiful at night.

The service at Shangri La Shard is truly exceptional. All the staff are friendly and attentive, the standard never let's up. The hotel is super clean with incredible views beautiful and excudes pure luxury.Please immerse yourself in the experience of staying here and enjoy every moment. Breakfast is fantastic and the sky pool overlooking Central London is amazing. I have been lucky to stay here 3 times and I hope to do so many more. Highly recommended and worth every penny.

We recently enjoyed a stay here in a beautiful iconic city view room with fantastic views of London. The staff here cannot do enough for you, everyone is so helpful and friendly. From reception, Ting restaurant (where we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea) and all other staff we spoke to. Any questions we had were dealt with quickly. The hotel itself is very clean and smells lovely. The bedrooms are fantastic and the views are spectacular. We cannot wait to return and enjoy another wonderful stay.

Please don’t waste your money on this hotel, the customer service is appalling. Only person I can praise was Jessica but apart from that the staff look like they don’t want to be there and speak to guests rudely.
