Sofitel London St James

Wonderful location and welcoming staff overall. The hotel is adjacent to Trafalgar Square and very close to both Buckingham Palace, the Theatre District and Westminster Abbey. Our room was spacious and clean, and very quiet. I would gladly stay there again The concierge staff pre-visit, notably Erno were very helpful in making our vacation plans plans. During our stay Ayman was terrific, and Enrique was also extremely helpful.

Great location, great hotel, staff is superb, at all levels. Shout out to the concierge staff , the golden keys are well represented. Special thanks to Jean Mitchell, for all his help.

So much has already been written about this lovely hotel - the location, cleanliness, sleep quality, friendliness of staff. But …. the attraction for us is the positive attitude which is a key part of the culture of this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone’s fallback position is to say ‘yes’ - from the concierge, to the dining staff, the bar, reception, etc. This is a culture which clearly emanates from the top. The General Manager is in evidence in the hotel on a daily basis. We have been regular customers for some time and will continue to be so. A great experience in the heart of this great city.

Amazing stay from start to finish Arrived early and had a wonderful afternoon in the spa. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful - from reception to concierge to the spa! The room was stunning with a lovely view out front! Will certainly be back again soon!

The Sofitel London St. James is a beautiful and luxurious hotel. We loved it and immensely enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted outside by a friendly commissionaire with a wide smile and friendly way. He took our bags and then we met a lovely woman who graciously welcomed us at check in. I must add the lobby is stunning! Another sweet woman escorted us to our room. We felt special right from the start. The dining room professionals and those in the St James Bar were genuinely friendly and pleasing. They payed attention to their clientele and knew what we enjoyed. The Concierge was super! We were going to a concert quite distant from the hotel and the gentleman pulled out a map and proceeded to advise us of travel options at this time of day. He was fabulous and well informed. All the commissionaires were friendly and gave us water each day because it was rather hot. They’d greet us again at night with warm smiles. Room turn down service was the sweetest ever. They realized a child was among us and arranged my granddaughter’s stuffies very lovingly on the bed each night. Overall, the Sofitel is a gorgeous and classy hotel with fantastic professionals representing an outstanding place and experience. We look forward to returning next year and we’ll certainly be wearing our hats—inside joke.
