A beautiful hotel with an ideal location near Trafalgar Square. We had a very enjoyable stay here and will definitely return. We recently spent 11 magnificent nights at Sofitel St. James with our three-year-old, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team set the tone with outstanding service — and they generously upgraded us to a bright, sunny room that became our home away from home. The rooms are wonderfully spacious and remarkably quiet, which felt like a miracle given the hotel's unbeatable central London location. Speaking of location, we were steps away from beautiful parks, world-class restaurants, theatres, and charming bookstores — truly unmatched. Breakfast and dining were a highlight every single day — delicious, generous, and accompanied by an impressive cocktail menu. The restaurant staff deserve a special mention for the warmth and care they showed our little one; they made her feel truly special. What made our stay unforgettable were the thoughtful personal touches: daily gifts for the family and a dedicated toy gift for our daughter each day. These gestures reflect a level of genuine hospitality that is increasingly rare. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to guest managers Kimberly and Nicolette, whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism truly elevated our stay. It is clear that their dedication sets the standard for the entire team. We had the most incredible experience staying at Sofitel St James London the other day. The day started with the warm welcome from reception informing us that our room is ready one hour before check in time and we got upgraded from the Junior Suite to the Prestige Suite, which was such a pleasant surprise. The room was stunning! So spacious and stylish, we literally couldn’t fault it. There was a personalised note in the room, a bottle of champagne and some deserts - what a treat. We also had a lovely Jinny visiting us and giving us a tour of the suite. Meeting her was a cherry on top of this fairytale of a stay. Thank you, Sofitel, we would soooo be back!
