Sofitel London St James

A fabulous stay and completely luxurious situated in the heart of London. A real dream come true. Friendly and welcoming staff, beautifully decorated rooms with exceptional cleanliness and wonderful facilities including the St James’ bar, rose tea rooms and Wild Honey restaurant.

I had a wonderful Christmas stay at Sofitel London St James.The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially to our child, and the Christmas surprises were truly heart-warming. Excellent location, and the room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. I had an amazing Christmas stay at Sofitel London St James, and it has truly become my favorite hotel so far. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and always happy to help. We received so many thoughtful touches throughout our stay, and they were especially kind and welcoming to our child, which we deeply appreciated. The Christmas surprises—especially from Sandy—were absolutely heart-warming and made our holiday unforgettable. The location is perfect, the room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, with excellent soundproofing. If I ever come back to London, Sofitel London St James will definitely be my only choice.

As expected : perfectly located, kind yet efficient staff, and unpretentious luxury Second stay in Sofitel Saint James and we do not regret the choice. The establishment is luxurious (of course not at the level of a Four Seasons), the welcome is warm and attentive. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom amenities live up to expectations. Breakfast is also plentiful. The bar offers a pleasant atmosphere at the end of the day. All the staff, without exception, was friendly and attentive. The location is ideal for tourism.

Outstanding Hotel experience. Luxurious modern accommodations. Family of 6, 3 rooms and two beds per room. We have stayed at the Langham previously and the Sofitel excels on many attributes. Location incredible. So convenient to many activities, yet tucked away in a quiet part of the street just off the main area. Short walk to lovely St James park which provides excellent running and walking trails and incredible bird watching. Adult 20s children loved the ability to get to nearly any neighborhood by walking and the others by convenient tube. Check in easy and quick, concierge and bellman always at the ready. Taxi always waiting outside. Rooms and hallways so quiet. Beds comfortable. Rooms elegant. Water pressure outstanding. And at Christmas holiday time, beautiful decorations including stocking on the door Christmas Eve and other treats. The bar was a true highlight with master mixologist Juan making some of the most gourmet and delicious proprietary cocktails ever experienced. He and his team’s hospitality exceeded their drink making skills. Always friendly and conversational. Beautiful tea room and restaurant with delicious breakfasts. Visited the Ritz and found it to be aloof and ostentatious. The Sofitel is quite luxury with all the elegance, convenience and hospitality one could wish for. Our first Sofitel wont be our last. Thank You Sofitel for making our London Holiday exceptional at every turn.

The hotel is very well located, right in the heart of London. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The room was very quiet and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was adequate. We really enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the hotel; we would gladly return.
