Had the pleasure to stay at the Sofitel St. James on two separate occasions within the span of about a week, and was looking forward to my stay after a stellar experience last November. I was not disappointed! I won't get into the weeds on this one in terms of detail, only take this review to acknowledge the fantastic staff at the St. James. A warm welcome, a surprise upgrade (thank you!), and cordial and professional interactions with all of the staff. I say it many times, a property can have its shortcomings, but excellent staff and customer service will overshadow these things every time and make me want to return. And I can't wait to return to the Sofitel St. James!

From the moment I walked in to Sofitel I had the best experience, wonderful greeting, amazing room, fantastic cocktails and delicious food. Complimentary glass of fizz as I was celebrating my birthday!

I wanted to share that we had the most amazing afternoon tea in The Rose Lounge this weekend to celebrate my mums 70th Birthday. The whole team were so attentive and could not have been more welcoming. We had a mix of dietary needs within the group and nothing was too much trouble. The chef was incredible at making sure allergies were catered for, but without losing the magic of the theme. Beautifully decorated hotel for the festive season. Cherished memories. Thank you all.

The hotel might be great but the team at the entrance was pretty rude. I was waiting to meet with my business partner and the reception team was very annoyingly asking me to move away and giving me the odd arrogant looks as if I was doing something wrong. In the end I felt Un welcomed and had to leave as could not stay at the lobby area. It really ruined it for me, don’t think would go back or recommend this venue. The bar service team was very nice instead.

Spent 2 nights in a deluxe suite 136, the hotel is absolutely amazing from the second you arrive the staff are very friendly and attentive, the room we stayed in was large with a separate lounge and dining area with a door to separate it from the bedroom. Food was amazing had in room dining, which was faultless and excellent valve for money, would highly recommended this hotel if you want a central location close to the main attractions.
