Sofitel London St James

I was delighted for the excellent treatment I had while staying at this hotel recently. In the month of SepEvery element of my stay, from the friendly greeting at check-in to the careful attention I received during my visit, beyond my expectations. My trip was genuinely unforgettable because of your staff's expertise, warmth, and commitment. I was constantly impressed by the quality of service, whether it was from the concierge, housekeeping, or room service. Apart from the outstanding service, I would like to draw attention to your hotel's wonderful location. It was the perfect option for any traveler since it was not only practical for seeing the surroundings but also offered quick access to a number of important sites. My experience has led me to strongly suggest your hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, pleasurable stay. Once again, I want to thank you for making my stay here so amazing. I’ve stayed a number of times and each time I return, it does not disappoint. Understated luxury. All staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Such a lovely calmness and ambiance throughout the hotel. Nothing feels awkward. As a solo traveller, I feel relaxed in the bar and going down to breakfast. Plus it’s such a delightful breakfast, in terms of both food and service, that you feel you want to relax to take time and enjoy. Staff remember and acknowledge you, which makes you feel like a valued guest. The rooms are spotless and quiet, and the bed is very comfortable. Sometimes I stay just to relax in the hotel, but it’s in a great location. You feel very safe in the area, it’s in a lovely part of London.

The look from outside is stunning, in a posh and very central location in London. Pros: - Central location - many attractions at walking distance - Cosy rooms of decent size - soundproof rooms so you dont get street noise - Welcoming staff - Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops in the direct vicinity Cons: - Probably bc it’s a historical building, some elements are ageing. The rooms give a good feel but it’s not a modern or high tech establishment - The bathroom also show signs of ageing - Central heating may have been deficient at that moment (weak heaters, shower not as hot as I would have liked) All in all, i would recommend the hotel for it’s unbeatable location and the well rounded package that is offered.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel St James. The staff went out of their way to assist us and to make sure our stay was all we could ask for. The hotel has a great location and history, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated as is the common areas. We really enjoy the breakfast.

A fabulous stay and completely luxurious situated in the heart of London. A real dream come true. Friendly and welcoming staff, beautifully decorated rooms with exceptional cleanliness and wonderful facilities including the St James’ bar, rose tea rooms and Wild Honey restaurant.
