Designer Philippe Starck conceived St Martins Lane London as a surrealist wonderland viewed through the looking glass of classic British eccentric taste. Cheeky and daring with a touch decadent, the lobby and social spaces are signature Starck style. It’s fitting that the hotel is situated in the bustling theatre district in Covent Garden - it is pure drama. Just ask the garden gnomes; this is classic London with a seriously seductive twist. Floor-to-ceiling windows at St Martins Lane pull the cityscape into each guest room, offering a dramatic perspective on the energetic city below. The Tim Andreas of Banjo design rooms evoke a sense of spaciousness and luxury by using a mix of both naturally inspired and modern materials. The overall effect is an ethereal, yet sensuous experience.

Amazing service and stylish hotel. Visar took care of all our needs. We love the colored lighting in the rooms, just one example of the attention to detail.

In the center of everything, but quiet. Helpful front desk staff for jet lagged guest. Wonderful recommendations by Monika for late night supping at outdoor cafe. Very reasonably priced sumptuous buffet breakfast. Free laundry for my gym clothes--I'm enough of a bargain hunter for that to actually MAKE me work out!

Fantastic weekend of football games and Coldplay concert with good friends! Perfect location for all activities, everything is so close. We did loads of great walking. St Martins Lane is a hidden gem in the middle of the bustling city! We will definitely return.

We stayed at the St. Martins Lane hotel for seven nights for a family vacation, and we couldn't have been happier. First and foremost, the location is superb. You are literally steps away from cool pubs, restaurants, and cafes in Covent Garden. New Row Street, in particular, has some wonderful patisseries. The hotel is also just a short walk from Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, and Piccadilly Circus. The hotel and its rooms are very modern and maintained to a high standard. The beds are comfy, and the rooms come with a wide range of TV channels, a mini-bar, great bathrobes, and plenty of power outlets and USB charging sockets. There's also complimentary espresso and tea. For couples, the LED lighting around the bed and TV creates a very romantic atmosphere. The housekeeping team does a great job of keeping the room tidy and clean and restocking the complimentary water. The front desk staff are also incredibly accommodating and welcoming. A huge shout-out to Fontina, who took amazing care of us! We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as we found some great options nearby for the kids. The two Pret a Manger locations close to the hotel were a hit, and Qima Cafe on New Row Street has some very nice pastries as well. Overall, we were all very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend it!
