Designer Philippe Starck conceived St Martins Lane London as a surrealist wonderland viewed through the looking glass of classic British eccentric taste. Cheeky and daring with a touch decadent, the lobby and social spaces are signature Starck style. It’s fitting that the hotel is situated in the bustling theatre district in Covent Garden - it is pure drama. Just ask the garden gnomes; this is classic London with a seriously seductive twist. Floor-to-ceiling windows at St Martins Lane pull the cityscape into each guest room, offering a dramatic perspective on the energetic city below. The Tim Andreas of Banjo design rooms evoke a sense of spaciousness and luxury by using a mix of both naturally inspired and modern materials. The overall effect is an ethereal, yet sensuous experience.

Lovely stay, the most comfortable bed. Welcoming reception team and the concierge Visas was so helpful. Standout though was the best Cipriani cocktail in the bar - highly recommend!

I am a long time Accor member. The hotels & staff are superb. However, I have to say that this hotel & staff were even more marvellous. Thanks to all & AJ & all the breakfast & reception staff.

We were a group of five, We booked a table for 5.30 and arrived promptly. It was another 20 min before we could get a waiter to take our order. Despite a couple of checks with the waiter and the manager, we waited another hour before our food arrived. It was obvious that we were not the only diners getting frustrated with the delay. Finally, four pizzas and some pasta arrived. The pizzas were tepid and half-cooked. By this time, almost 7.00 , we weren't going to endure another lengthy wait and miss the 7.30 start of The Nutcracker, just down the road at the Coliseum. The manager offered 20% off the bill which we considered totally inadequate, given that my daughter had a 20% discount on the food already lined up via a voucher. The manager's only concession was to offer 20% off the whole bill. The company's website claims "We'll never compromise on quality or value...we're still serving the best possible pizza every day." Clearly the corporate chaps never eat in St Martin's Lane.
