Love this place
This must be one of the best hotels in central London. It’s cosy, discrete, v tastefully decorated and has excellent service.

Disappointing afternoon tea
We booked this based on a review saying it was a hidden gem and the hotel was lovely, but the afternoon tea was not up to the standard that I was expecting. Firstly, they had run out of decaffeinated tea. Next, the sandwiches came and disappointingly the bread was dry, like they had been made earlier in and left out uncovered. Finally, whipped clotted cream is not something worth having as it just tasted like whipping cream, leave the clotted cream as it is please. It just needs to step the level - plates should have been changed after we had the sandwiches and we had to ask for this to happen and no one came back to would you like fresh tea or more sandwiches. I was with friends and we enjoyed the hotel and spending time together, it's a shame that the food was not that big better.

Excellent lunch menu in delightful relaxed setting in the heart of St James
The Stafford has all the potential to be an absolute jewel and with Michael Caines expertise will soon become regular on the business lunch circuit Food and service are quintessentially fine dining Good VFM Recent change of management should allow 5 star grades

It's all about the staff at The Stafford! My favorite hotel in London and probably in the world! If you can't stay there stop by the bar...not to be missed. Look it up when you're there.

My cousin and I had the most fabulous trip! The Stafford London was the most perfect, wonderful hotel, and we could not be any happier!
The staff was amazing, and yes, please let Alan and Nick know how much they helped us, as this was my very first trip to London!
We so appreciated the perks, and enjoyed the wine in our room!
