Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences

This was quoted a long time ago , I was going to write the review when I get back and wrote it on a piece of paper but anyway I still need to talk about how amazing this hotel truly is , I was travelling with my cousin who need and allergy free room but we forgot to add it when we were booking the room and I’m just gonna stay right here the staff was so nice and moved us to the allergy free room which is such an important thing for us I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends and will for sure come back in the future 😊

was a fantastic experience something that I would always remember This experience at the Taj Buckhingham Gate will rate as one of our best experiences across multiple hotels / resorts globally that we have been to. This was exceptional also due to the fact that we had a medical situation with our special needs son which needed some support. The hotel staff was empathetic from the beginning and accommodated our needs in terms of stay, food and care through the stay which made this a memorable trip despite all the odds. From the front desk to the concierge, housekeeping, room service, transportation, the quality of service and customer concern was exceptional. I cannot end this note without the acknowledgment of the tender love and care provided by MANEESH - the butler at the hotel. He went out of his way in providing us help during the difficult times with our son which was very critical for us. THANK YOU all the members of the hotel who may us feel at home at your property. Truly my belief in the supreme quality of hospitality and service at the Taj has been vindicated by this experience. I would HIGHLY recommend to stay here to be part of it.

Dear Taj 51 Management Team, I am sorry to raise this in the middle of our stay, but our experience so far has been far below the standards we expect from Taj, particularly from a premium property such as Taj 51 Buckingham Gate. A very basic issue today was that our suite kitchen had no spoons, forks or knives available, and nobody had guided us regarding these basic amenities. After contacting the team, it took approximately 45 minutes and three reminders before the cutlery was finally delivered to our room. This is extremely disappointing for a premium serviced-suite experience. We were also surprised to find that still drinking water is being charged at approximately £8 per bottle, even for resident hotel guests. At this level of accommodation, charging such a high amount for something as basic as drinking water does not align with the hospitality and guest experience we associate with Taj. At the very least, adequate complimentary drinking water should be readily available to resident guests. We are longstanding Taj members and loyal customers, spending approximately ₹10–12 lakhs annually across Taj properties. We continue choosing Taj because of the service, hospitality and attention to detail traditionally associated with the brand. Unfortunately, our experience at Taj 51 so far has not reflected those standards. We are still in the middle of our stay, so rather than simply registering a complaint after departure, I would appreciate senior management looking into these concerns immediately and ensuring that the remainder of our stay is handled with the level of service expected from Taj 51 Buckingham Gate. I would also appreciate speaking personally with the Hotel Manager or senior Duty Manager to understand how these concerns can be addressed during our current stay.

Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites & Residences was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had while traveling overseas. From the moment we arrived, every single member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. A special thank you to Amreen and Manish at the front desk, who were incredibly proactive, friendly, and accommodating. No request was ever too much, they consistently went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The team in the café was equally wonderful, always warm, attentive, and a pleasure to interact with. The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. The entire property is stunning, and the housekeeping team did an exceptional job throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and what truly stood out was the level of care and hospitality shown by everyone. They made us feel less like guests and more like family. Every request we had was handled with genuine kindness and efficiency, making us feel completely at home. We travel often, and this level of service is rare. We’ve already decided that every time we return to London, Taj 51 will be our home away from home. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so memorable. Five stars all the way!

From the warm, cheerful greetings to the extremely efficient check-in to the personal touch that is put Into everything the team does, one feels enveloped in warmth. Walking into the well appointed spacious suites is like arriving home! Special thank you to the entire team headed by Ms Zuzana for surprising me with a Birthday cake and card signed by the entire team! What a special gesture! Big thank you to Alex for securing on of the most difficult tables at such a short notice! This team is what keeps us coming back again and again to 51.
