The hotel is located in a great neighborhood with easy access to all sorts of public transportation via Victoria Station. Additionally, it's a quick walk to shops and restaurants in Pimlico or on Elizabeth St. Can also walk to the Tate Museum. Although a busy area by day, quiet at night. Rooms are small (most are in London), but nicely designed - only negative was unflattering lighting in the bathroom. The beds are super comfortable, and there's a mini fridge plus coffee maker. Staff is friendly and helpful. Consider this a find! and would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had 2 rooms on the 1st floor, with balcony, which viewed in a beautiful garden.I believe its an opportunity to have balcony in London,in a road with beautiful buildings. Location is excellent, near to Victoria station, but very quiet neighbourhood. The hotel is well decorated and uses a lot of technology in the rooms which is very convenient and not at all complicated.Trully the rooms are small,it's an old building, but you get used to it, when you arrange your suitcases. But the highlight of the hotel is Eccleston Garden which is private only for the residents. What a beautiful and peaceful garden! Don't miss it. And about staff,is very warm and helpful. The only thing that must be improved is the breakfast. It is very poor in variety and in quantity. My advice : Book room with balcony and visit the garden!

Poor lighting, especially in the bathroom. Wife had trouble seeing to put on makeup etc. Plugs did not work with converter to use flat iron. Staff is very pleasant, rooms are small (which is always expected in this part of the world). Hotel is very clean

If you are looking for a luxurious stay, I would look elsewhere. We had paid more for a King bed with a garden view but upon check in were told our room was in the cellar. I've never stayed in a basement room, but after a long flight thought we'd give it a try. When we were headed to sleep we noticed spiders and webs and asked to be switched to a room with a garden view as we had booked. After 1.5 hours in the middle of the night, the very nice front desk attendant cleaned the webs and disposed of the spiders. We had a separate pre-paid booking later in the week and this time did have the garden view room. It's smaller than the cellar room, but feels better to not be in a basement and have more natural light. Again this time I found small bugs, stains, etc. Aside from the feeling that the hotel wasn't very well taken care of, the garden is actually across the street and you must ask the front desk to give you access. The area is nice and quiet, situated in a calm part of town with a good amount of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. I am not a regular reviewer but a very frequent traveler; I had reached out to the hotel in advance to give them a chance to make this right between us. I would not stay here again if it were $100 cheaper per night.

We had a great experience staying at the Eccleston Square Hotel! It was our first trip to London, and the hotel was highly recommended in one of my travel books. We loved being close enough to walk to some restaurants and the Victoria Station, but it was away from the noisy hustle and bustle of other areas. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. Our room was very comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was good and coffee was great. If we're ever lucky enough to return to this beautiful city, I hope we can stay at the ESH again!
