Fabulous location! Historic and memorable hotel. Having the park nearby was one of the most memorable things to have a break from the chaos that can be the city. I love the atmosphere and authenticity of the hotel to the heritage. Don’t modernise ! Breakfast was underwhelming.

The location of this establishment is just excellent in my opinion. The tube station is right nearby, shopping and attractions are at a walking distance. Green park is across the road, so you can always go for a calming walk. The hotel itself is well decorated and has a calming ambiance. Of course it’s an old building and that means uneven floors etc., but that just adds to the charm. The room was clean and spacious in terms of central London. Very good air conditioning, which is ever so important. The bed itself was excellent and I slept really well. It was quiet, although the location could suggest otherwise. Breakfast was charming, although I must admit I didn’t try eggs Benedict, which will always immediately tell you what kind of an establishment you are visiting. Lastly, I feel the people always make the difference and the staff was professional and warm.

Loved our stay at the Mayfair. Our room was clean, and the bed was perfect, so so comfortable after hours and hours of walking the wonderful city. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and every restaurant and attraction they recommended was fantastic. The location is perfect, safe, seems central to everything, quick walk to the underground and major attractions. Best kept secret is the Shepard Market just around the block which hosts bars and restaurants built in the 1700s (all featured fantastic food and drinks). Tamarind a fantastic Indian restaurant is also around the block. Book the Michelin star restaurant in the hotel in advance as well as tea in the GORGEOUS cozy tearoom. Just beautiful, can’t say enough. A bit pricey, but well worth it, I have to say the Mayfair is one of the reasons London is now our favorite city.

This hotel is everything you would expect, but for one thing. It has a fantastic location, and is beautifully kept, with friendly and helpful employees. I lucked out and got a room with an enormous outdoor patio, which was an unexpected and very welcome surprise during my stay, during which I enjoyed great weather as well. My only gripe about the hotel was the limited hours and operating days of both its restaurant and bar. I can’t remember the exact time, but the bar closes early — and they mean it! Otherwise, great stay!
