About the Hotel
Good Hotel London is a re-designed platform located right on the water and offering views over the river Thames and city of London. From the outside, it looks like a giant, black container, with green roof and small windows. Inside, however, the design and atmosphere encourage groups to sit, eat and chat together. The reception is glued with a bar, and a library in one big lounging area. The hotel's look is different to others because its offers training and jobs to long-term unemployed people in the local community. The hotel rooms range between a cozy and a roomy and boasting a smart layout and contemporary aesthetics.

Friendly, interesting and different
I’m always sceptical when your hotel room has amongst other things, earplugs. But I needn’t have worried. My night there was peaceful. Without the earplugs. The hotel is a floating barge in the docklands close to the Excel exhibition centre and as such has great river views from the roof terrace bar. Rooms are small and ‘Spartan’ but the space is intelligently used and even the tiny bathroom-toilet is fully functional. Beds are fairly comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The hotel concept is one of natural produce and social consciousness and directly provides for and supports education for underprivileged children in Guatemala. This hotel is a more off-beat, less cost option than its neighbours although at £140 for a night, I wouldn’t call it the budget option. A budget anything in London’s Docklands is hard to find.

Small things matter
A fine hotel - great location, nice decor, well thought out, confortable, reasonably priced, but let down by the receptionist's insistence that I had to pay £30 security guarantee refundable after departure against incidentals, even though I checked in after 11pm and was leaving early. What incidentals? Food was already finished and public bar was closed, and I had already declined the offer of breakfast. The Good Hotel should know that the small things matter in good hotel management.

Perfect
The location was perfect for an Excel conference. Breakfast - delicious, bed- comfortable, staff - friendly and welcoming. Would love to stay again

The Good Hotel is a Great Hotel!
An incredible experience! Fantastic location, and their customer service went well beyond our expectations on every level. Terrific! From the lovely reception, breakfast team, to the bar staff, every interaction was done so professionally. The team approach incorporated comes through with glowing colours, and everyone working at the Good Hotel enjoys it. The hotel also has a great ambiance. It’s such a great cause as well! Hats off to how well it’s managed too. We are so pleased with our stay that we have already booked to come back.

Great hotel even better beer garden
Everything was spot on. Very warm welcome and Ibrahim looked after us (showed us the lovely „beer garden”), a true gent and we would come back for s stay anytime.
