The Londoner Hotel

Best hotel I have stayed out had rooms with ceiling hoists to enable disabled wheelchair, not only security the room was beautiful and the best I have stayed at, really lovely staff make everyone feel important. Great experience and would use again .

The Londoner is a great hotel. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, and the food was very good. We used American Express with our booking, but were not able to get the early 12pm check in that normally comes with Amex Fine Hotels bookings because they had been fully booked the night before. No problem. However upon checking in at 3:30 (check in time is 3) we had to wait about 20 minutes while they found us a room. Luckily the team was very nice and gave us a complimentary upgrade and the room was wonderful. It would have been disappointing if as an Amex Fine Hotels customer I was unable to check into the room I booked 30 minutes after check in time, so we were happy with the customer service at the hotel. It is extremely busy with families, and people who want to stay in the middle of the busiest parts of London.

We stayed at The Londoner for three nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The location is excellent—especially if you’re planning to see a show in the West End. Right on Leicester Square and only a two-minute walk from the Tube, it made getting around London very easy. It’s also very convenient for Covent Garden and within easy walking distance of Regent Street for shopping, which was ideal for us. Being on the square also gives the hotel a more open feel than many central London properties, and if you have a room facing the square, the views are lovely. We also really appreciated the hotel’s facilities. The gym is very well equipped, and the pool was a real plus—especially with London weather being a bit unpredictable. The lobby has a lovely atmosphere, often with music, and the breakfast area was very pleasant. Access to the Residence Club was another highlight, with complimentary non-alcoholic drinks available throughout the day, which was a very nice extra. Our room was very comfortable, and we slept really well. We were also fortunate to receive an upgrade, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Scott in the Residence Club, who was especially kind and helpful when our daughter wasn’t feeling well and needed a few extra things. We really appreciated the thoughtful support. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return. We would definitely recommend The Londoner for anyone looking for a comfortable and very well-located stay in central London.
