Welcome to The Londoner. A staggering edifice on the south west corner of Leicester Square, it is a stage for drama and theatrics. A tribute to the artists, visionaries and eccentrics of the city. Teeming with experiences, its striking spaces and intimate nooks play host to inimitable dining, performances and exhibitions. This is a luxury London hotel, reimagined for the global citizen. The Londoner’s restaurants and bars reflect the city’s eclectic dining scene. Elegant Japanese cuisine features alongside a contemporary take on the French Mediterranean. Bright and airy spaces for breakfast and brunch contrast intimate cocktail and Champagne bars, whilst the rooftop sets the scene for spectacular gazing and grazing. Beneath the historic Leicester Square, an urban haven for holistic pampering awaits. Recharge in the spa. Rejuvenate in the gymnasium. Sip a detoxifying juice or let the hours slip away in the beauty parlour.

We stayed at The Londoner for three nights in a Deluxe King Room. 5-star aspects - The Residence. This was a sanctuary for guests, offering complimentary snacks (albeit the same ones throughout each day), complimentary hot drinks and soft drinks, as well as a decent menu of food and drinks. A truly relaxing ambience. - The quality of the food served at The Residence and Whitcomb’s restaurant. - The Retreat spa and pool. This was easy to use and the system of booking beds worked well. The gym was excellent. - The service in The Residence was friendly and attentive; likewise the service at Whitcomb’s by some of the staff. - The quality of the fittings in the bedroom and bathroom, including the Vi-Spring bed, sheets and pillows, the digital toilet etc. - The hotel’s public areas, lounges and bars. Struggling to be 5-star - The check-in and check-out experiences were not the most relaxing. - The lay-out and location of the breakfast buffet in the restaurant. - Some of the service at breakfast. - The entrance to the hotel. - The lack of space for luggage and clothing and accessories' storage in the Deluxe bedrooms. Despite the location of The Londoner being well away from our favoured areas for hotel selection in London, a number of the 5 star aspects would lead us to consider the hotel for future stays, at the right price.

Our recent stay at The Londoner was truly something special. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautifully curated every part of the hotel is. Every detail feels intentional, elegant and thoughtfully designed — nothing feels ordinary. It’s sophisticated, intimate and exclusive, while still feeling incredibly warm and welcoming. What impressed us most was the exceptional service across every department. From reception and the various outlets, to housekeeping and the breakfast team, every single person we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming. There is such a consistent level of care throughout the hotel, which makes the whole experience feel effortless. Special shout out to Felix at check in and Anna at check out. The Retreat at The Londoner deserves a special mention. It is absolutely beautiful and exquisite — such a peaceful, relaxing space that feels like an escape from the outside world. We spent some wonderful time there simply unwinding, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. We also visited 8 at The Londoner, which was an experience in itself. The drinks were not only beautifully presented but absolutely lovely, and once again, the hospitality was exceptional. The attention to detail, atmosphere and service made the evening feel truly special. The Londoner is so much more than a beautiful hotel — it’s an experience. Every corner, every detail and every interaction feels carefully considered, and that is what makes it stand out. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We left feeling completely relaxed, spoiled and already looking forward to coming back. ❤️ Exquisite, elegant, beautifully curated and effortlessly luxurious — The Londoner is truly in a league of its own

A good city hotel right in middle of Leicester square, a very popular (and noisy) location in the heart of Soho. While you’re close to everything, walking home on a Saturday night can be challenging, having to step over several drunks. The rooms are tastefully renovated and the bed very comfortable. We didn’t like the dim lighting in the bathroom, the fully automated (and noisy) loo, and the dark interior of the public spaces. But overall a good place to stay if you need to be in this area

We loved our stay for our wedding anniversary and as very impressed with the level of service given to us, particularly by Lydia, she was so welcoming and friendly and made us feel very at home. She went out of her way to be helpful and make our stay as wonderful as it could be. The hotel was stunning, as were the rooms, we ate in the Whitcomb’s restaurant and the food was incredible as was the service. We used the spa and the pool, it was blissful and very relaxing. Would highly recommend staying here!!
