The Londoner Hotel

We stayed at The Londoner for three nights and absolutely loved the location — it’s unbeatable for access to the theater district, Leicester Square, and everything in the Piccadilly area. The hotel itself feels brand-new, spotless, and very well maintained. The staff were excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional. The price was reasonable considering the quality and convenience. However, the room layout left a lot to be desired. The space was surprisingly cramped for two people, with almost no room for luggage and very limited counter space in the bathroom. It felt like some of the room’s square footage, especially between the door and closet, wasn’t used efficiently. That said, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and despite being in one of the busiest parts of London, the room was extremely quiet, which made for great sleep. Overall, this is a beautiful, modern hotel in a fantastic location with excellent staff — but I’d recommend choosing a larger room category if space and storage are important to you.

First class hotel with lots to offer and amazing facilities and staff service. Spa, roof top bar which is pretty and lovely views of London. Entertainment on the stage during your stay. Lovely selection of food and drinks. Great location but it is in a busy area.

We recently stayed at The Londoner along with other couple friends. We had a great stay. The hotel service is superb, always there to greet you and help. Rooms were very good, and it had great restaurants and bars. Location was close to everything.

he Londoner, Leicester Square — Consistently Disappointing Staff Experience (and I’m not alone) Before sharing my stay details, it’s worth noting that other recent guests have flagged similar issues with inconsistent or rude service — especially at the front desk and bars — so this isn’t an isolated experience.  From arrival onward, the team felt disengaged: no smiles, impersonal greetings, and a tone that alternated between indifferent and curt. I repeatedly had to ask basic questions (like where the restroom was) and the responses made it clear help was a chore, not hospitality. The vibe at the front door was that staff didn’t want to be there, and treatment seemed to vary by the “type” of guest — the exact opposite of what you expect from a five-star property. Until management addresses the service culture and consistency across shifts and venues, I can’t recommend The Londoner to anyone seeking a genuinely welcoming stay.

From the minute you walk in you know you have arrived in a 5 star hotel. I have to say this is the best 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few. Every member of staff give first class service. What stood out most to me was the service at breakfast. Breakfast was extremely busy, waiters were great and working extremely hard but what I noticed was management helped the waiters, they cleaned tables, took orders, brought tea and coffee, filled juices extra. Now that to me is excellent team work. The suits didn’t just stand and wait for waiters to do it they all worked together. Rooms was beautiful, but it was the staff throughout the hotel that makes it 5 Star. They all worked together as a team no one better than the other and that’s the way it should be. This is why we have rebooked for another weekend . Well done to management and all staff
