The Mayfair Townhouse

My self and my wife stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and unfortunately it was a disaster. We booked a delux room. £600 per night with breakfast. We were allocated a room on the ground floor next to the external service lift. It’s not clear to me if this was a delux room or not. It was ok, a bit tired, bathroom was tiny, and cars and people passing outside your window the whole time. From 12:30am until 3am the external service lift and stairs were being used constantly and it was impossible to get any sleep. I raised this with reception in the morning who said they would mention it to the manager. Having not heard anything for 24 hours I emailed the hotel with my experience. A week has gone by and I have still not had a response. This hotel is vastly over priced and the service and management of the hotel is not what you’d expect from a hotel that charges £600 per night.

The stay was excellent and bari’s service was amazing! Felt right at home at this spot and cannot wait to come back here soon. Great for work and holiday!

We enjoyed a very relaxed and pleasant lunch. Great location with a quiet atmosphere. Petra & Vitalii served us and were very pleasant and amenable.. overall would highly recommend!

We went for lunch and we had sea bass and the sirloin…perfectly cooked and delicious :) The experience was great and I would like to thank Petra and Vitalii for their amazing customer service! We will be back!

AS one would expect in Mayfair, everything was very smart, beautifully decprated and well maintained. But staying for several days is problematical because of very small rooms. Exceptionally helpful and professional staff. Because of the tube strike, taxis were rather hard to come by but the staff always kanaaged to find one.
