I met my husband in London where he had gone for work on our way to Morocco. He visits The Ned 2-3 times a year but this was the first time I had joined him there. First impression was great service. From bellman to check in, really friendly and helpful. For such a historic property, the rooms and layout are very interesting and while our room was above average, the tiny window covered by external scaffolding wasn't great. But construction happens, no worries. I ordered a late room service lunch and was so impressed by the food, what a lovely surprise. The toiletries and shower were AMAZING. Like, wow! We enjoyed the main bar downstairs both nights and the energy was a blast. My second afternoon I stopped in at Millie's Lounge hoping for afternoon tea which I had neglected to make a reservation for. The hostess could not have been more lovely. She personally went to the back and chatted with the kitchen and made it happen. What a treat! All in all, I would go back to The Ned for my husband's work trips and would recommend stopping by for a cocktail if you are in the area!

This hotel is housed in the Midland Bank's old HQ, and one is taken back in time when wandering the wood panelled corridors and rooms - unique and interesting. The central location in The City district near Monument is great. The room styled in a bygone era was comfortable and clean, but just a little dark. Service from reception to luggage storage was excellent and friendly. A problem with my toilet (which happens) was sorted within the hour. Unfortunately, there is no dining room or breakfast buffet. Meals have to be taken a la carte in one of several restaurants occupying the vast ground floor / lobby. This lobby gets extremely busy from lunch until late but generates good energy and an exciting London vibe. All meals taken were delicious and nicely presented. Overall, a comfortable and interesting stay.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Ned, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The setting is truly impressive, with a unique atmosphere that perfectly blends elegance and energy, making it ideal for both dining and social occasions. The service throughout was attentive, professional, and welcoming, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The food and drinks were equally outstanding — beautifully presented and full of flavour, with a menu that offers something for everyone. What stood out most was the overall ambience, which creates a memorable experience and keeps you wanting to return. I would highly recommend The Ned to anyone looking for a sophisticated yet vibrant place to dine or unwind.

Disappointed, expected more, food was ok, service was good. Just didn’t meet our expectations for a place we had wanted to visit for years.

Went to the bar, it's costly but impressive in terms of ambience. But they refused to accept cash. That is inexcusable.
