We’ve just returned from an anniversary weekend at the Shanghri-la and it was spectacular in every way. It started with attention to our needs 2 weeks before the weekend. Responsive and kind communication with a genuine commitment to recognise how special this stay was for us and to make every effort for us from booking our pool slot, a window seat for breakfast the iconic view room with binoculars so we can see absolutely everything from all angles! and a generous little anniversary cake for that extra care and attention. The room was simply stunning. The corner view was spectacular. The weather was sunny and bright and we had full view of the Wolf moon too! Every member of staff was attentive, wished us a happy anniversary, were polite and went that extra mile. It was the best start to 2026 anyone could wish for. We can’t thank them enough and hope we can return. It’s hard to beat.

I visit the Shangri-la at the Shard every year with my daughter for Christmas as a tradition. I'm a Shangri-la circle member, and stay at various locations around the world within their group. Unfortunately this time in London didn't meet my expectations. There was a lot less 'christmas' appeal, no presents for my daughter as they had the previous year, and overall the service and standards of the staff wasn't as good whatsoever compared to other countries. In most of the hotels within Shangri-la, you're made to feel quite special. They call me Mr by my surname, stop and have conversations, treat you almost like royalty! Although I feel like London let us down this year. It felt as though we were treated as just another number coming through the doors, despite being in the Westminster suite. It would have been nice to receive better quality of customer service and a higher standard treating your guests well. I'm not sure we will stay at the shard again... Quite upsetting

Amazing hotel. Great service, spacious rooms, awesome views. The rooms have soaking tubs with floor to ceiling windows with skyline views of the iconic Tower Bridge. It just feels like luxury at its finest!

This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. I was there for business for six nights on a business trip. Property is stunning with a wonderful view but what really sets it apart is its people. I find it rare these days to find genuinely kind service but the Shangri La London team cares. One defining moment was when I forgot my passport in the room. I called the hotel where Matt at the concierge answered to let me know that it might be difficult but he will see what he can do. Meanwhile I didn't expect a positive outcome so had arranged my colleague to help. When I called back, they told me Hassan was already on his way to Heathrow by train. He then immediately reached out via WhatsApp to update me real time and even sprinted to hand over my passport just in time. All of this without any charge or expectation of gratuity (but of course I did I mean how could you not!). Shangri La London really went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. I will be back every time I get a chance to be in London again. Thank you so much again team!

The room offers an iconic panoramic view of London that makes the stay truly special. Falling asleep with the city lights outside the window and waking up to the curtains opening at the touch of a button creates a memorable experience. The room itself is very comfortable and enjoyable to stay in, even without going out. Air conditioning works perfectly, especially during hot weather, and the service is excellent. Overall, it’s a high-quality stay that feels well worth the price.
