We stop by at alter ego, and Eddie was an amazing bartender! He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. He had a great attitude, made excellent drinks, and checked in on us throughout the night without being overbearing. His service truly made our experience even better. If you get the chance, ask for Eddie-you won't be disappointed!

Amazing one night stay utilizing the AMEX FHR program. The FHR amentities all applied without problem on our Tuesday night stay -- early checkin was available at 1:15pm, I was (luckily) upgraded to a suite, late checkout was honored at 4pm, and we were able to use the $100 property credit on in-room dining for dinner, and $60 breakfast credit on in-room dining for breakfast. (We were told we could have also used these credits to dine in person on the on-site properties, but we opted for room service). The Wifi and A/C were solid during our entire stay. A few things to consider before booking, though they're fairly transparent about these so I knew this going in: Parking (valet only) onsite is $55 per night. There is a mandatory resort fee of $52.29/night ($45 Urban Experience Fee "UEF" + $7.29 in Local Taxes/Fees on the UEF). I"m not the biggest fan of resort fees, but unlike other places, this resort fee does provide some "tangible" daily benefits: $15 food and beverage (excludes room service), $50 spa credit (applicable towards 60+ min treatments), $24.99 PPV movie credit (movies are 24.99 so this is truly a free movie), 3 mile house car service (available first come, first serve), and Historic Hotel tour & sparking wine guided tour (rsvp w/ front desk). I can vouch that the $24.99 PPV refund really did come through, and we enjoyed our in-room movie that evening. Overall good value for the FHR program. Highly recommend.

We chose the Fairmont Breakers Long Beach to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary, and it was the best decision we could have made. GM André Brose orchestrated a flawless stay for my wife Rona and me, and Katia Peña treated us to an incredible historical tour of the extensively restored building. The front-of-house team, specifically Ashley Wilmoth, Natalie Smith, and Jack Wellford, provided warm, personalized attention throughout our stay. The crown jewel of our weekend was dinner at the Sky Room. The staff seated us at a table with a stunning and beautiful view of the marina, Shoreline Village, Harbor, and the Pacific Ocean. Sky Room General Manager Courtney Miller ensured her entire staff provided excellent service. We were even greeted tableside by André Brose—an amazing touch from the top executive. The food was phenomenal. We don't drink alcohol, so they graciously swapped the complimentary 100-year anniversary champagne for a delicious Strawberry Cooler. We dined on an amuse-bouche of tuna tartare, Oysters Rockefeller, and a Dungeness Crab Cake swimming in a luxurious beurre blanc that was perfect for dipping their Parker House Rolls. Our shared entrée, the California Wagyu Beef Wellington, was perfectly cooked. Chef de Cuisine Maxwell Pfeiffer even surprised us by including a complimentary side of the Pommes "Sky Room" alongside our Sauteed Savoy Spinach! Capping off the evening with a Bananas Foster made right at our table was the perfect ending. If you want a luxurious, memorable stay with a team that anticipates your every need, this is the place.

A wonderful experience; the hotel staff were incredibly attentive and polite. I loved the place, the atmosphere, and the service. I definitely recommend it. 👌
