With its community spirit and remote location, Lopez Island provides an idyllic setting for Edenwild Inn. Here in Washington Stateâ€(TM)s San Juan archipelago, you can truly get away from it all. Situated in Lopez Village, the inn boasts just 8 spacious guest chambers, whose amenities range from sleigh beds, fireplaces and antique style soaking tubs to warm, small town hospitality. After a European style meal in the charming breakfast room, you can step outside and savor a remarkable array of leisurely pursuits.

We loved our stay at the Edenwild. We stayed in one of the expertly equipped cottages. The owners are very helpful. The even helped us out a great deal when i messed up our reservation and had to change locations! We were on a bike trip and the have bike storage!

Room 4, 2 nights The good: Neat antique Victorian look inn, property is clean throughout, WiFi good, host very nice and accommodating to additional requests. In the middle of town center, walk to all the restaurants in minutes. Room was clean, fireplace worked. Plenty of parking. The bad: Sound insulation (despite second floor) not great, heard other family little child crying frequently. No mirror in the room, only in bathroom. No ironing table. Soap was horrible, shampoo not good either. One of the shower curtains was dirty. No breakfast offered, only during 2 summer months. Overall this is a nice place, but attention to details makes one come back. It might be the best place to stay on Lopez Island outside of renting a whole house.

This was the most recent stay for me at the Edenwild. As with all prior ones, this was an excellent experience. The Inn is a fine looking place in first rate condition in a great Lopez location. The room, as always, was very comfortable and well appointed. The proprietors are accessible and friendly. I highly recommend the Edenwild.

If you are considering adding Lopez Island to part of your adventure loop, the Edenwild is a wonderful location for lodging. Best adjectives: clean, quite, charming, comfortable, adorable, relaxing, safe... shall I go on? The location is walking distance to grocery markets, dining, and steps from a wonderful cove to view the sunset. Have stayed here several times and each visit I have chosen a different room - all of which have been exceptional and comfortable. If you are only waiting until the summer, high season to travel, consider visiting in the winter off-season as well. It is amazingly quiet, comfortable, and you will have the roads almost to yourself for biking or walking. Plus, don't forget - you will have incredible birding! Oh - and in the summer it will be a treat to watch the rabbits hanging out on the lawn munching on grass - just absolutely perfect. Leave the 'rushed, anxious, and overwhelming' city attitude behind. Slow down when driving - enjoy the scenery, wave to everyone, smile, say hello - and respect the environment and wildlife - it will reward you more than you can imagine!! Can't say enough great things about this location - will most def stay here on future visits!

Our first trip to Lopez Island, and Edenwild made it wonderful. The room was spacious, the bed (memory foam) fabulous, big bright bathroom and front deck seating. We were allowed to bring out ebikes on the porch which made charging them a breeze. We felt safe leaving our belongings in the main front room when we arrived early, as if stepping back in time before locked doors. I think our favorite by far was the to-go breakfast. As we planned to cycle each day, the to-go was the best - and it traveled well and was delicious every time. If you're traveling to Lopez, we highly recommend Edenwild.
