An Absolute Dream

My nervous system hasn't been this calm in ages. We stayed in Room 10 and very much enjoyed the private deck, where we spent hours reading and taking in the beautiful sights and enjoying the symphony of birds and frogs. The room was perfect for us, though it did not have a dresser or closet (which was a complete nonissue for us as I prefer to live out of my suitcase, but thought it may be helpful for others to know). The only issue we really had was that the pillows were very thick, though I have no doubt this could've been resolved if we asked for alternate pillows. Although the summer months are behind us, we still visited during "peak season" so we were lucky enough to enjoy some lovely breakfast each morning. We loved walking around Lopez Village and browsing the shops full of local artisan goods and enjoyed one of the last farmers markets of the season (all just a stones throw from The Edenwild). The Inn is also centrally located so it was easy to get to all of the beautiful trails and viewpoints around the island. Our favorite spot was Shark Reef Sanctuary! We are already dreaming about our return trip and can't wait to enjoy more of the tranquil nature of Lopez.

Quiet inn

Stayed 2 nights as part of a group, so we may not have had the ‘full’ experience. Our room #8 faced the front lawn, was large with soft seating and table for 2, along with large comfortable bed. Bathroom with tub/shower of average size, coffee brewer w/pot and coffee in room. Large closet but no dresser or drawer space, and bathroom vanity was a pedestal sink with no space for our toiletries. Morning breakfast of quiche, yogurt parfait, and muffin served around 8A both mornings. While soap, shampoo, and conditioner were provided, would have appreciated body lotion. The inn has a large living room with lots of outdoor seating areas. Cute and comfortable. A few places to eat nearby, but not sure if more would’ve been open during the busy season.

Cozy stay on Lopez Island

Our stay at this property was great! Our room was very comfortable and felt like we were at home. We made use of the kitchen which was well supplied. Our room and bathroom were exceptionally clean with everything provided. Communication with host was easy and welcoming with helpful suggestions regarding the area and dining options. Property was located in a quiet area while we were only minutes from town. Would definitely recommend this property for your stay on Lopez Island.

Very nice, but some improvement needed

Room 4, 2 nights The good: Neat antique Victorian look inn, property is clean throughout, WiFi good, host very nice and accommodating to additional requests. In the middle of town center, walk to all the restaurants in minutes. Room was clean, fireplace worked. Plenty of parking. The bad: Sound insulation (despite second floor) not great, heard other family little child crying frequently. No mirror in the room, only in bathroom. No ironing table. Soap was horrible, shampoo not good either. One of the shower curtains was dirty. No breakfast offered, only during 2 summer months. Overall this is a nice place, but attention to details makes one come back. It might be the best place to stay on Lopez Island outside of renting a whole house.
