A very comforting stay. Room was very luxurious and featured a wonderful view of downtown LA. Hotel also provided a breakfast which was delicious. A must stay when visiting LA

Simply superb

Everything about this spot is exceptionally good, but we would single out the quality of service. All staff are highly professional, very courteous yet very friendly too. A shout out to the barman on the rooftop, who’s knowledgeable of beer and cocktails is a delight. Restaurant food is also excellent. Rooms are extremely comfortable and beautifully designed. Amenities therein are top quality too. We cannot speak too highly of this first class establishment.

Great Hotel, Terrible Area

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel gym is far above average for a hotel gym. The food was good. The hotel overall is first class. The area surrounding the hotel is a cesspool. I was with my 9 yr old daughter and she felt unsafe every time we left the hotel. The homeless and mentally ill are everywhere in the vicinity of the hotel. The streets smell horrible. We would only return if we knew the area was dramatically cleaned up.

Funky but Fee$ on top of room rate!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

Pros: Cool hotel with funky vibe. Room was spacious, eclectic decorations and definitely not cookie cutter. Cons: Amenity fee of $35 per night. Valet parking runs $72 per night!! Cool place perhaps if you are going to hang out at the hotel with enough time to take in the amenities. Definitely not recommended for a simple overnight stay.

Awesome experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

Beautiful hotel with a plethora of communal spaces, a rooftop lounging deck, and giant, luxurious rooms. Very old Hollywood vibes while still being modern and cool. Staff was great, particularly the valet team who was super speedy and friendly. Dorian is the best. Highly recommend.
