We stayed the weekend at the Cameo for a Bar Mitzvah. The Saturday night party and Sunday brunch was at the hotel. The Good: - The Parking Valet's were amazingly nice. Probably the best part of the hotel. - The entrance and valet area of the hotel are nicely secluded and beautifully landscaped. - The lobby is very well done with a nice sitting area and a beautiful bar. - The room floors are small with only maybe 16 rooms per floor. - Breakfast in the restaurant was very good with great services. - If you order coffee the bring you your cup full and extra pot of coffee for refills. I love this. And the chicken link sausage was the best I ever had. - The pool area is small but very nice looking. But it was kept very clean with lots of towels. - The amazing top floor was the event room for the Bar Mitzvah party. - The top floor party room was beautiful. Stunning views, with a beautiful outside wrap around walk balcony with amazing LA views. - Highly recommend this venue for a wedding or other party. - I had a corner room with a wraparound balcony too. Floor to ceiling doors that could slide open. It was too hot that weekend to sit out there though. But would be amazing if the weather was nice. - The first night there my room got cleaned in the evening when we were out and there was a lovely snack plate and more bottles of water. - Did not happen the second night. Maybe it was one time Diamond thing. - The cloth laundry bag vs. plastic was a very cool touch. - Robes and slippers in the closet too. - The room had drawers full of nice glass ware and a Lavazza (my favorite) Coffee Pod Machine with matching Lavazza mugs of various sizes. - A great lighting system that you could control from either side of the very comfy king bed. - Rain Fall shower was amazing. Best part of the room. - And four full size bath towels in the room. Seems I only get two or three at lots of king rooms now days. - I could see on the final bill they pay attention that you get the full daily food credit. I can't really tell, but it looks like they even adjusted the price of my food purchases to match up. This is great. - At check out the valet team even got us bottles of water for the road. - The drinks and hors d'oeuvres in the bar area before going upstairs for the Bar Mitzvah party were fantastic. The Peruvian influences at the hotel are very charming. Try the Pisco Sours. - Not too far a drive to Santa Monica Beach and Fox Studios is just down the street. Very Hollywoodish. Could be better: - The AC in the lobby and my room were terrible. I asked to have my AC looked at but I don't think anything happened. The thermostat only allowed you to set it to 68 F, but my room never got below 71 but felt much warmer. I ended up sleeping on top of the covers both nights. - My son, who had his own room, had to change rooms due to his AC. His new room could get down to 65 which is way more comfortable. (we know how to hack the thermostat to go below 68) - Not a lot of rooms with two beds it seems as I could not get one. - Check in was fine, but not LXR Hotel level fine. No mentioned of Diamond status and I could not get any upgrades, even to a room on the better side of the hotel. - I have been very spoiled this year getting upgrades at Hilton properties. A lot of time getting a suite a day or two before check-in without even asking. - There were "gift bags" for the Bar Mitzvah guests but the front desk did not hand them out until my cousin asked about them and we had to go ask for the bags. - The floors of the room are a light-colored wood or laminate, and, in my room, they were very scratched up. Maybe a good buffing would help. - The room keys are a stylish oval shape. But they do not fit in your wallet. I lost my key somewhere, but I know how to use the phone key, so it was ok. - Breakfast is pricey, but with the Diamond credit it is ok. Overall great hotel to stay at for a first visit to LA/Beverly Hills.

Exceptional valet service at Cameo Beverly Hills! A special thank you to Lance, Guillermo, and EriK, who went above and beyond throughout our 2½-day event. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming to our clients and the entire LA Tourism team. Their professionalism, positive attitudes, and willingness to assist with anything we needed made a real difference. Truly outstanding service!
