Hotel Ziggy Los Angeles

I picked this property for its reportedly good location and pool. I felt the location was good to catching public transport to areas of interest but not near anything in particular itself. The pool doesn’t get a lot of sun so felt too cold to swim in. The aircon unit in my room was very loud so made it hard to sleep. And the walls are thin so it’s easy to hear the neighbours. The common areas also have an unusual smell. The look and feel of the common areas is fun and the room itself was clean. Note: there is a $58/night additional charge which may not be noticed at time of booking

This is a great hotel. The location is great, the staff was friendly, and they have pizza. I got one of the "swim up" rooms which basically gives your room a back door out to the pool area where you have your own little couch. Great time, I will be back!

Fantastically funky place - love the music decor and theme for everything (including having music performances most evenings)! Loved my stay there, and even though there was quite a bit of partying during the day and sometimes into the evening - staying on the rooms on the outside of the courtyard rather than inside, it's totally fine sound-wise! And the staff is quite helpful and knowledgeable about local restaurants and sights.

Such a relaxed atmosphere with great staff and vibe. We were only stopping for a couple of nights but would have loved to stay longer.
