Great location. Walking distance to some great restaurants. Valet parking V friendly staff. Funky bar - loads of atmosphere - fun. Good room size for city centre - modern, clean. Only stayed for 1 night so we could see a bit of LA - would def recommend hotel as a base to see the city.

Great experience at the hotel, great vibe, great entertainment and lovely staff. The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel vibe itself was quirky and cool, the music and food were really good. Didn’t go in the pool but the pool area was lovely. The room was a great size, air con was amazing as it was over 34 degrees when I stayed. Good location in a good area. Great experience had at this hotel and I will be back.

The hotel is in a great location, but overall we felt the experience didn’t quite live up to the price tag or cool-vibey place that the photos show. Our room was quite small, with an even smaller bathroom. The air-conditioning was very loud, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. If you're a light-sleeper then this isn't the place for you to stay if it's hot in LA. Our window view also looked out onto a brick wall and car park, so it wasn’t exactly the most inviting space to spend time in. One of the biggest drawbacks was that room servicing (bins emptied, towels replaced, etc.) had to be booked 24 hours in advance, something not made clear when booking. For a hotel presenting itself as luxury or boutique, and charging $250 - $300 a night, this policy is something we would expect at a cheap roadside motel. On the positive side, most of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and chatty, which we appreciated. That said, we found it unusual that we weren’t able to split our payment across two credit cards when checking in. The music venue and on-site pizza place were lively and fun, which is probably the biggest appeal of staying here if that’s what you’re after. Overall, I wouldn't hurry back if I was returning to the area to stay.

Sold as a luxury, boutique, vibey hotel. Overall in tatty condition (ripped fabrics on pool couches, lots of chipped paint and dark, dirty looking worn carpets in hall ways). Front desk staff who where too cool for school and uninterested. Very disappointing visit, and would not recommend or stay there again. The actual rooms are good, breakfast food and service good. The rest was over promised and under delivered. In the end I was overcharged and after asking for 5 weeks never got an answer and explanation, or even an itemised account of my stay which is unheard of in all my years of travelling and frankly "weird".

Music is almost the star of the hotel, only to be out done by the staff hospitality and Pizza Girl food and team. It is well appointed and modern. We enjoyed drinks while the covers event was on. There is a wonderful feeling that this is a special hotel. Location is brilliant too. The only downside (for us as a family) we’re members of the public hanging around entry to the rooms on floor 1 to use the toilets when there were events on.
