Very nice elegant hotel. Nice location. Room was clean and breakfast was complimentary. Parking is expensive but I find that’s the case with many IHG properties. Would go back.

Gorgeous hotel and def bougie with beautiful views of the city. Check in is on the 70th floor and features sweeping views of LA which is really cool to see. Pros: -Samy, the front desk Supervisor was amazing. She was kind, friendly, and understanding and applied our leftover credits to our bill. She apologized for the lack of dining options after-hours and for lunch but more than made up for it by her excellent customer service. You can tell she genuinely wants to ensure you leave having had a great stay and maximizing your benefits -Really snazzy grounds, smells great upon entry, well-maintained and great attention to detail and styling with the design from the common bathrooms, the pool area, and the lobby. The rooms are beautiful and they upgraded us to a really nice premium city views room -Provided a Birthday cake and Aqua Panna since we were celebrating a birthday -Checked in at noon and offered a choice of 600 IHG points, $20 beverage credit at the bar, or breakfast for two (Diamond Elite Member). We weren’t able to take advantage of the beverage credit and Samy, the front desk supervisor, easily switched over to the 600 IHG points so I didn’t lose out. We already got free breakfast each day for booking through Chase The Edit -Long shoe horn in the room -Byredo products in the room -Byredo welcome gift with facial mist, hand cream, lip balm, and eye cream -Super friendly front desk (especially Samy) LaBoucherie staff, and anyone delivering requests to the room, bellmen, to the valet -Soaking tub and shower -Loved their Intercontinental Breakfast, especially the potatoes with crème fraiche, cheese and chives. Chicken sausage was a little salty but the bacon was good. Really enjoyed their half pulp OJ and the Iced Coffee was great also, and was able to sub a croissant instead of toast -Massive gym with a steam room, dry sauna, lots of locker space, and showers -Stocked Mini Bar but empty fridge available upon request -Poke Bowl at the pool was pretty good, decent pineapple margarita and they had Voodoo Ranger IPA’s Cons: -A lot of people complain about the elevators and while it does take some getting used to, one of the employees offered a hack: tap on the bottom center of the touch pad from any floor, enter 31, and hop on the other elevator to whatever floor you’re headed to. Bypasses the lobby completely from ground floor -Pillows were stained on first entry so had them swap them out -Valet parking: $72 per night, in and out privileges. Convenient but def expensive -My biggest gripe is the lack of dining availability. They partner with Chase and offer a $100 food and beverage credit and not offer all day dining or even lunch. Their onsite restaurant, La Boucherie is open for breakfast and dinner only, the lobby bar opens at 4pm (after our 4pm check-out), the Dive Bar was closed on Monday. The in-room dining ends at 1030/1130 MF/SS, and resumed at 5pm. And no late-night in-room dining (ends at 10pm) -They charge a $39 + tax daily facility fee and offer $25 food and beverage credit but for dinner only. Unfortunately we were in town for an event that went from 3pm to later in the evening both nights so def unable to use that, and this was prepaid through Chase The Edit -Also did not enjoy their kimchi risotto, needs a heartier protein We read reviews about this place but wanted to give them a chance, and while it’s a beautiful grounds with bougie touches and high-end amenities, the lack of dining availability and the difficulty in using the Chase Edit credits is a little annoying. All in all a good experience, but Samy really made up for it to ensure we were getting the most from our stay so she def left a positive impression. Very upscale but any credits are only applied to subtotals (not tip and gratuity which they apply an automatic 18% for everything, including drinks at the bar).

Bent was incredibly kind and professional throughout our experience. He carried both my boyfriend’s and my luggage to our car, carefully loaded everything for us, and even brought our car around, which made the whole process so much easier. He was respectful, courteous, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. His excellent customer service and attention to detail really stood out, and it’s clear he takes pride in doing his job well. We truly appreciated his help and would gladly recommend him!
