We have stayed at this hotel many times as we have family in the area. This time was a real disappointment. They used to welcome you with a glass of wine and a chocolate chip cookie. Now the welcome drink is water. Efficient check in, but 2 of the rooms smelled musty and overly perfumed. We were able to change one room and decided to open up the slider to air out the other room. My room had a charging station on the desk which was not plugged in because there was no outlet under the desk! Why is it there? Neither bedside lamp had charging facilities. I had to charge in the bathroom so no phone by the bed- inconvenient. The rooms in general are in need of renovating - very dated. Just seems a little run down and sad. My sister's room had a deadbolt that did not work. The next morning we went downstairs for the continental breakfast which was a bowl of unappetizing looking apples and oranges. There was coffee! No milk, no half and half, just the cheapest creamer...so no coffee for us. In the past they had pastries, yogurt and decent coffee accompaniments. The onsite restaurant was never open to my knowledge. On the plus side, the location is excellent - close to downtown LG and lots of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. The staff is also great - Kat, Cherise and the guy who handled check out and made note of all the problems. Also lots of parking and a garage. Rooms were very clean and we did not use housekeeping. When they respond to reviews it is just a "management representative", never a name.

the location at the end of downtown is great - super walkable but not too noisy. it's definitely an old hotel but they've spiffed it up. ample parking, nice staff and the water pressure in the shower make this a better than average value.

It was the perfect place to stay for a 40year reunion next door. Room price was good for 1 night stay on a Saturday night for a bunch of couples attending the event. Sunday morning woke to a farmer's market across the street. Los Gatos is and has always been a lovely town.

I rented 2 rooms for my daughters and me. One of the room’s entry door did not latch, requiring the strike plate to be replaced. This door has been unsecured for a very long time. While clean and functional, both rooms are dated. The furniture is worn and there was drywall tape hanging from the ceiling in the king suite room. The continental breakfast was minimal.

I arrived at the hotel at 14:45pm. The first message I got form the person at the reception was we are checking in at 3pm. That is not a kind of "Hello Welcome" I expect as a guest when arriving at hotel of this price class. Overall the employees looked very unmotivated and had faces like a wet weekend. Parts of room (cupboard in the bath) was not clean. Rooms are looking quite used and need renovation. Service was bad, I asked to clean the cupboard, that didn't happen.
