Good but not great
The property is very beautiful and the rooms were clean and nicely sized. I would say that the food and beverage service was subpar and lackluster - it took forever to get service and I had to go up multiple times to ask for service.

Excellent service!
This was our first time visiting and it is an exceptional property that we will be returning to. The staff was attentive and the rooms are very nice. This is a great property to base your local wine tasting from.

Exceptional service, impeccable room, stunning grounds, perfect wine-country getaway.
We had a great stay at the Inn at Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos. From the moment we arrived, the service was top notch. The welcome ginger drink was a great touch, the room was impeccable, and the grounds were absolutely stunning. The location is perfect for walking into town and enjoying wine tasting, which made the whole experience even better. A special thank you to Andrew, the manager, who was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. He went the extra distance to make sure our short visit was memorable, and that level of hospitality really stood out. We will definitely return for more quick trips to the region in the future.

Remarkable gem in amazing wine country - the other california wine country
Mattei's is idyllic, truly enchanting property with all the amenities you could ever want for a getaway. We were engaged here and were able to celebrate at all the surrounding wineries...so incredible!
