We had a wonderful stay at the Brown Hotel. The decor is very finely crafted, the room was spacious and so comfortable, and the restaurant was great. DON’T miss looking around on the 3 lower floors at all the history of the hotel and also check out the view from the roof. We were in Louisville while on a Midwest road trip and only stayed one night. Wish it had been longer…Louisville offers a lot of fun sounding things to do.

When we first entered the beautiful lobby at the Brown Hotel, we were graciously greeted by the cheerful front desk staff. Amy gave us helpful suggestions about visiting Louisville sites. Another Brown staffer, also named Amy, showed us a quiet, spacious room with excellent A/C. The shuttle bus staff was top-notch - arriving and departing promptly - and with imparting historical background about the legendary Brown and Louisville history and culture. Highly recommend the Brown as well as the delightful lobby bar and grill and the delicious breakfast at the hospitable J. Graham Cafe.

Hotel rooms stink, smell like old spice……definitely won’t return. This is not a Luxury hotel at all, needs total Renovation!

We chose the Brown Hotel because of its historic charm and significance, and we were not disappointed. Kerrise Perry at the front desk was exceptional. She was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure we got the best value for our stay and made sure we had everything we needed for an exceptional visit. If you’re looking for outstanding hospitality in Louisville, I highly recommend The Brown Hotel. We’ll absolutely stay here again, and I hope Kerrise receives the recognition she deserves for providing such excellent guest service.

Very disappointed. The shower clogged, the coffee maker spit out chunks of black junk. Told them when we checkout. The young lady was ruse and dismissive. Will not go back next month.
