Hotel Splendide Royal Lugano

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Splendide Royal. From arrival to departure, the service was consistently excellent – professional, attentive, and delivered with genuine warmth. The Food & Beverage offering deserves special mention. The quality of the cuisine, the execution, and the overall dining experience were superb and clearly reflect a strong culinary and service culture throughout the hotel. A timeless property that combines classic elegance with very high standards of hospitality. We very much enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

I absolutely LOVED this hotel. It is so beautiful and the view is out of this world. It doesn't even look realy. We were upgraded to a room with a view and now I know that I would be willing to pay extra to have the view in the future (if Im ever lucky enough to return). The hotel itself is in a great location. We walked down to Old Town and shopped and had some wine, but we ate our meals at the hotel. Perfection! I especially loved the flaming crepes Suzette! The room was luxurious and they even had a turndown service and set out our slippers and chocolate by the bedside table for bedtime. We also got a glass of prosecco upon registration. The little touches made it so special. We were gone for ten days throughout Italy and Switzerland and stayed in many nice hotels. We stayed 2 days at Hotel Splendide and it was my very favorite because of the extra attention to details.

Pleasant, courteous, professional staff. Check-in, luggage handling, local recommendations, and dining experience were all first-rate. While the formal dining room was closed for the season, the quality of the menu and wine list was exceptional in the main dining room. a must stay in this part of the world

Hotel Splendide Royal Lugano is, without a doubt, the best place for high tea. The experience is exquisite, simply sublime. The ambiance feels like stepping into another world, especially while enjoying the breathtaking view over Lake Lugano. I went there at Christmas time with my family and it made the moment even more magical. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. The scones, sandwiches, and sweet treats were perfectly prepared and delicious all refined flavors, beautiful presentation, and absolute indulgence. If you’re in Lugano and want a luxurious and memorable afternoon, this is the place. Don’t miss it.

Amazing hotel, great location and service. The elegance and coziness of the installations are great. Although one of the restaurants was closed the rest of them were great. The view of Lago di Lugano is outstanding.
