Excellent hotel in arguably the safest spot in Lviv
Beautifully restored citadel tower which is part of a bigger citadel complex. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff at reception. Well appointed spacious and comfortable, clean rooms. Dinner on premises was superb. Never had such a tender steak before (almost 500g), and the restaurant waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely return when staying in Lviv; highly recommended.

Do not recommend the resto to the guests of the city at all. There are so many beautiful places with a great attitude.
The place is beautiful, exceptional. Visiting it for decades now. Beautiful garden, place hotel. But the restaurant- the worst experience ever. The attitude of the waitresses is just lowest. Despite kind requests to be served within 30 minutes- disregarded, part forgotten, no apologies. While the summer terrace is 10% filled, 4 waitresses stand and do nothing. The owners should pay attention to such staff as they just ruin the reputation of the 5 star hotel. Seriously, disgusting, disrespectful, disappointing attitude ever. Do not recommend to the visitors at all.

It was an amazing stay!
It was a fortress and now super luxury hotel. Very nice views and yard, amazing food and breakfast was really 5 star with their amazing chef Eugene. Rooms very cozy, big and well furnished. Stuff was very friendly and nice, you will have a feeling that you are traveling in the centuries.

We are coming again and again!
I heard about Citadel last time I was in Lviv and since then I knew for sure, this is where I am staying the next time. And now I can say, it was a good call! The hotel itself has a unique architecture, well-set rooms, and a nice yard outside.Another thing I have to mention - the rooms are extremely quiet! I couldn't believe how quiet it was. We also checked out restaurant along with the bar and thought they were excellent and reasonably priced. Thank you to our waiter - Ivan :) So in case you can't get a table in one of the popular restaurants downtown, don't even hesitate - go for dinner to Citadel. Another thing that made our stay even more comfortable was outstanding hotel staff. They were friendly, always smiling, and ready to help. Overall amazing experience in Lviv. Thank you so much and we can't wait to come back to Citadel!
