Set in an ancient land that dates back to biblical times, is a contemporary resort located hundreds of feet below sea level. Evason Ma'In Hot Springs & Six Senses Spa is the latest luxe sanctuary to make its way to Jordan. Its exterior purposely resembles a Middle Eastern village, but its interiors reveal a sleek, modern motif with wood beams and shuttered doors that slide back to reveal private balconies. There are less than 100 rooms at this intimate oasis, with a pair of elegant suites and a single honeymoon retreat that occupies the entire top floor. Amenities vary with each chamber, but include rain showers, butler service and well-stocked mini bars. The hotel's clifftop restaurant is where you can enjoy traditional Jordanian fare from your seat positioned on the floor. The wine bar offers an array of vintages and Arabic tapas, while the olive garden allows guests to press their own oil.

Was so looking forward to our stay as we drove all over Jordan and this was our treat! Arrived and no clear signs for parking so parked on the verge and struggled pulling our cases to reception. Security watched us all the way then pulled us into a hut to scan our bags. I presumed this was for security but my bag was ripped off the belt and the guy started stabbing at the screen and telling me to look. We had a bottle of wine that we had travelled with from a vineyard in our case. Apparently that makes you a criminal here and he made me unpack everything to put the bottle In ‘security’ until we left 🤣. If we had been told before hand we would have left the wine in the car to avoid the shame! Reception gave us the wrong details about pool/springs opening times. Restaurant area absolutely stank of toilet, went to private pool and the flys were everywhere, all over you so couldn’t stay. Drinks were ridiculously priced, room dated and sad. Food was very good! Hence one star! Could not wait to leave. Also, don’t take the road up from wadi rum, I have travelled a lot but this was probably my most scary journey ever. Sheer drops with no barriers. I actually cried! When I spoke to a guide the next day hé said ‘yes never take that road, very bad’. Why would the hotel not advise you about that beforehand? All the other hotels in Jordan have sent emails offering amazing advice, all these guys did was push their other hotel in Aqaba. Please don’t waste your money! Worst experience in an amazing country

It’s an amazing hotel that doesn’t provide your usual five stars strict luxury behaviors, it’s more like what a family feels like , every one is very friendly, the location I believe is one of the best locations in Jordan , the food and the service was outstanding my thanks goes to chef Khalid and chef abdallatef for the amazing food and Motaz and Aws for the atmosphere and the service and for everyone who I couldn’t remember there name thank you so much

Very bad experience, the hotel including the management and the facilities are really bad , They do not have the minimum standards of respect , the food is really bad and high prices, the pools are far away with no signs to indicate the locations. The rooms without any maintenance and one of the elevators was broken during our stay, they charge over the room price on everything like even ice as the fridge was broken as well and no cold water in the rooms. Above all that the management includes Nidal and Lubna were very unprofessional, and obviously the employees are not happy with their management, I went to the hotel 13 years ago and I can tell it is really in bad condition now and not the same nice place I have visited in the past.

Beautiful Location with Excellent Service – But Needs Better Maintenance I recently stayed at the Ma'in Hot Spring Resort & Spa, and while the experience had its highlights, there are a few things future travelers should be aware of. What Stood Out Positively: Exceptional Staff & Service: The staff were genuinely warm, professional, and attentive. From the front desk to room service, everyone was helpful and welcoming, making check-in and general inquiries very smooth. Clean & Inviting Reception Area: The lobby and reception area were clean, nicely maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere on arrival—a great first impression. Areas That Need Improvement: Pool & Surroundings Maintenance: Unfortunately, the pools were not well-maintained during my visit. Water clarity and general cleanliness were lacking, and the surrounding pool areas could use more frequent cleaning to match the standards expected of a resort of this level. Room Furnishings: While the room itself was spacious and comfortable, the chair cushions were noticeably untidy and stained, which took away from the overall sense of comfort and cleanliness. Final Thoughts: Ma’in Hot Springs is in a stunning natural setting and offers a truly peaceful escape. With some attention to maintenance—especially in the pool areas and room furnishings—it has the potential to be a top-tier destination. The excellent staff and beautiful location deserve better upkeep to match the overall promise of the resort.

Having traveled widely, we have come to know a few places we like to call "heaven on earth" and this is definitely one of them! From using the therapeutic waters of the thermal springs, luxuriating under a gorgeous waterfall and allowing it to soothe our muscles with its lukewarm mineral rich jets of water, beautiful food, rainbows, starry nights... right up to the fantastic service offered by the friendly and extremely helpful General Manager and his team, every experience was heavenly! We look forward to going back in the near future.
