We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service at Hotel Sumaq. Frank and shirley, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His attentiveness and genuine desire to assist truly made a difference. The overall experience was outstanding, and we highly recommend this establishment. Beautiful hotel and wonderful hospitality. After a tough walk, we were greeted with a warm washcloth and delicious beverage. The dinner was amazing as was the breakfast the next morning. Cathy

I would highly recommend the Sumaq hotel if you are thinking of visiting Machu Picchu it’s perfectly positioned and you will be met with a warm and friendly welcome. Our river view room was immaculate and I have to say the best appointed hotel room with both 110 volt sockets and 220 volt perfect for us European visitors , the best bath robes and L’Occitane amenities provided . We visited the bar and were given an informal and fun masterclass on making the famous Pisco Sour by Francisco the best mixologist this side of the Andes we enjoyed his company , warmth and enthusiasm then enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant. A beautiful appointed hotel with a real Peruvian feel.
