Reviews for Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel

A beautiful addition to our magical trip to Peru

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We were greeted here with warm scented facecloths and refreshing juice...from that moment to checkout, every encounter with staff was pretty much perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a gorgeous bathroom. Edgar and Henry at the bar and Jairo in the restaurant deserve a special mention. I wish I had everyone's names, though, because they were all terrific and kind. We felt welcome and cared for during our entire stay. Thank you, Sumaq for being part of our magical adventure in Peru!

What an amazing hotel! The entire experience was outstanding. The staff was incredibly helpful. The restaurant was awesome. We could not have been happier. They took our luggage to the train station for us so we could walk around without it.

This was my family's first time to Peru. Our Sumaq stay was amazing. The entire staff provided excellent service, especially Sebastian who walked us all the way to Aguas Calientes hot springs.

Perfect in Every Way. A must stay after the long climb up Machu Picchu.

We were traveling with Tauck Tours when we had the opportunity to stay at the Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel, and it is wonderful. The hotel is beautiful and the accomdations are extremely comfortable. We were on our Honeymoon trip. The hotel brought in chocolate covered strawberries and a variety of chocolates. They decorated the plate to wish us a Happy Honeymoon. Ingrit, our server in the dining room was most helpful and assisted with food intolerances and taste preferences. Her genuine caring nature was noted by everyone at our table. After climbing all over Machu Picchu, you deserve the luxury of quality linens and the excellent service in all aspects of the hotel. I loved our stay at Sumaq, in Aguas Calientes. They were 5 star all the way.
