Superb

A beautiful hotel with a fantastic team who make you feel very special in the most genuine way. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped, and the pool area was equally well appointed.

Classy and timeless

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Spent 4 days/nights pretty much all at this excellent authentic famous establishment. One or two quirks for less physically active guests due to location [hilly, lot of inclines, uneven surfaces and steps] and age of building [rather noisy plumbing and old fashioned bath/shower that wasn't the easiest/safest to use], but I absolutely loved it. Restaurants and staff friendly, professional and first class quality, view from the sea view room and the sea swimming from the base of cliff pool and platform outstanding. An excellent choice for sol travellers as the staff were so keen to engage and make welcome

Fulfilling my dream

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

It has long been a dream to take afternoon tea at Reid’s Palace and I achieved that dream this week. I was not disappointed. I tried to act nonchalant, as if I did this all the time, but when one of the attentive staff offered to take my photograph I couldn’t resist! The staff were excellent, calmly attending to each table, and providing a very special experience. My food was beautifully presented, each item described carefully by a member of staff, adding to the culinary delights. Usually, my least favourite part of an afternoon tea is the scone but at Reid’s Palace they seem made of air and extra delicious. I was sad that clotted cream hasn’t reached Madeira but the strawberry jam was particularly tasty. And two extra points to Reid’s - even though I was alone I was given one of the best tables, and the extra place setting was removed swiftly and smoothly. Thank you, I really appreciate that level of service. After tea, I went for a wander through the beautiful gardens I had been admiring from the tea terrace, such a delight. If you’d enjoy a proper afternoon tea I’d recommend Reid’s Palace most highly.

Stunning hotel with best ever staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Another memorable stay at Reid’s with absolutely wonderful staff for whom nothing is ever too much trouble. A magnificent inclusive breakfast kick starts the day (why don’t ALL hotels offer this?) the pool areas, loungers and parasols are fabulous and every corner of the hotel is spotless. Complimentary soft drinks from the fridge in the room is a lovely touch. Only one complaint: children in the cocktail bar after 7pm!

"Reid's Palace was the best hotel I have ever experienced . Staffs were super friendly and everything was possible from the concierge. Reid's made my honeymoon perfect."

An extraordinary value! Reid's Palace Hotel is a handsome historic property featuring breathtaking water views, exotic gardens, a full range of amenities and delicious and varied food options. We found the staff to be very helpful and dedicated to making our 4-day stay with them a holiday in every sense. We appreciated the extra attention the staff paid to getting us in and out of the airport, circumventing the crowds and shortening our travel and wait times. This is Luxury Link at its best.
