We come back. Now it was our 4. time in casa velha. We enjoied the excellent services, the suite with the view in the beautiful garden and the silent after the crowdy Funchal. Its like at home. Thank you.

If you want a peaceful relaxing and friendly stay, Casa Velha is definitely the place to go. This was our 7th visit and it will not be our last. Charming helpful and friendly staff make every day special. The newly redesigned restaurant is great. The food is amazing and now you can see your food being prepared. Excellent service and lovely rooms.

The hotel is very relaxing allowing you to recharge your batteries but is remote and cooler than the coast. Depending on your view this could be a plus or negative. A stay of a week or less would be fine but if not playing golf or having a hire car you might begin to get a bit bored.
