We had a wonderful stay at Taj! Initially, we had planned to stay for just one day, but thanks to Ms. Pavani, Guest Service Associate, our plans changed. She took the time to clearly explain all the activities, facilities, and experiences available at the property. Her warm, friendly, and professional approach helped us understand what we were missing — and we happily extended our stay by another day to enjoy more of what Taj has to offer. Ms. Pavani truly made our stay pleasant and memorable. Her dedication and hospitality reflect the high standards Taj is known for. Highly recommended, and special thanks again to Ms. Pavani for making our visit extra special!

We went there for our anniversary celebration and you guys made sure it was one of the memorable anniversaries! Everything from reception to checkout was very smooth . Miss Aroopa helped us like a friend in choosing our activities or in booking our reservations with such a friendly smile always ! Miss Pavani at the reception made us feel comfortable. And chef Mr. Swaroop Maity made pleasant dishes and suggested us some good dishes and also made sure we got the special care by checking on us about food and asking for feedback. We had fun making our own pots with Mr. Ishaan. The spa treatment we took was super relaxing that we went back for another spa the same day ! In room dining was hasslefree with suggestions from Mr. Gautham. Enjoyed the ziplining activity by muddy boots! Everyone including the housekeeping and buggy team always wished us with a smile and made it super comfortable and warm to stay there ! Overall amazing experience and would love to go again !

We spent five days at Taj Madikeri in a fantastic mountain location in a eco resort. It was peaceful and allowed us to rest away from crowds. The food was delicious. We stayed at Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa for four nights to celebrate our anniversary, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The Western Ghats is always been my favourite place, and Taj being nestled right in the middle of this rainforest was an added bonus. The property truly feels like a world of its own. The vastness of the rainforest quietly embracing the resort is overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Inspired by traditional Kodava homes, the rooms are thoughtfully spaced apart, making you feel like you are living in the heart of the forest itself. You don’t just see nature here — you experience the flora and fauna intimately. What truly makes this place exceptional, however, is its people. Every individual — from the front desk to the gardens to the kitchen — carries a sense of purpose that is deeply inspiring. A special mention to the wonderfully hospitable Duty Manager, Peter Mondal, who was informative, engaging, and passionate. His knowledge about the property and his genuine desire to ensure guests make the most of their stay reflect his rich experience and love for hospitality. The dining experience was elevated by the warmth of Rohan, Manoranjan, Adarsh, Harshita, Prem and Preksha. Each meal came with the same enthusiastic welcome, making us feel remembered and valued every single time. I would gladly visit again just to experience their hospitality. The chefs were truly remarkable — not just in skill but in care. Chef Swaroop’s “Walk with the Chef” experience is something I will cherish for life. I had wonderful conversations and picked up invaluable cooking insights from Chef Arun, Mustafa, Raja, Saartak and Siva, each excelling in their respective cuisines. Their dedication to tailoring food to guests’ preferences was evident in every bite. The naturalists, Darshan and Pradhan, beautifully immersed us in Kodava culture and deepened our appreciation for the Western Ghats. They inspire you to slow down, observe, and reconnect with nature. From authentic Kodava cuisine to indulgent breakfasts and the unforgettable dal makhni at the Grills restaurant — everything was consistently delicious. Overall, a fantastic and deeply personal experience. This wasn’t just a stay; it was a celebration of nature, culture, food, and heartfelt hospitality. We will definitely return.
