Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa, Coorg

Keep up the good work. No complaints, rather accolades only. Taj Medaikeri comes recommended. Property is quite interesting, situated in typical rain forest on Coorg. Quite serious about taking and protecting environment.

Our stay was quite amazing. The view was great and the rooms were way beyond our expectations. Breakfast buffet was so yummy

Its unique location will always stay in our memories. Although we faced some limitations in open space—especially for kids’ activities—the property is exceptionally well managed given its elevation.

The property is truly exceptional, offering an ambience that feels almost otherworldly. Every corner exudes elegance, tranquillity, and thoughtful design, making the stay both luxurious and memorable. The restaurants serve outstanding cuisine with a wide variety of culinary experiences, each maintaining impeccable quality and service. In addition, the property is well-equipped with top-class facilities for a range of activities, ensuring that guests of all ages remain engaged and entertained. Overall, it stands out as one of the finest Taj properties, delivering an unparalleled blend of comfort, hospitality, and sophistication.

I visited Taj Madikeri with my mother in November for 3 days and we had a lovely time. My mother uses a wheelchair and while that was an issue with accessibility in the design of the resort with no ramps and multiple stairs everywhere, the staff throughout the resort went out of their way to make the stay pleasant and comfortable for my mother with warmth and courtesy and that was very appreciated. The location is fantastic with spectacular views of the rainforest and hiking trails in multiple directions. The rooms were well designed (despite having steps at multiple points) with huge windows looking out to the most beautiful view of the rainforest. I would definitely recommend a visit here to anyone interested in going to Coorg for trekking and hiking.
