Hesperia Madrid

Our trip to Madrid was remarkable not only due to the incredible sites and people of Spain but also because it was enhanced by the amazing team at the Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid. We experienced the coziness of a boutique hotel along with an incredible staff. The hotel is well maintained and the room was elegant. Our highest commendation to Eva who set the welcoming tone at check-in. David and Alberto were thoughtful and personable during each encounter. Each day began and ended with incredible kindness and professionalism from the entire Team. The morning staff in the restaurant were wonderful as well as others we encountered during our stay including but not limited to Carlos, Eduardo and Jorge. Thank you to everyone for this experience and we will never forget you all. Best wishes for continued success. We highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid.

Simply appalling. A disgrace to the Hyatt name. Woken up by a loud nose from the drains in the bathroom at 5:15 am. Reception staff not surprised - an evident problem which was one well known to the hotel. Room was tiny and dark - corridors in need of renovation. Message to Hyatt: close and renovate. Seemingly a hotel for massive tour groups and devoid of anything nice. Avoid.

We had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency Hesperia. We requested early check-in and were able to get our room as soon as we arrived. The front desk associates were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. As a globalist, we greatly appreciated our upgrade and bottle of wine. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a very wide selection which we liked. We also enjoyed the food and beverages in the Regency lounge. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Madrid.

This hotel was very comfortable. We splurged on the ambassador suite and it was pretty nice. It comes with a patio and “hot” tub. I say “hot” because it wasn’t too hot which was actually nice during the hot weather. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t ready at 4. We had to wait until 5 pm to check in. The guests before us must have had a REALLY good time in the room or something. When we finally checked in there was a dirty pair of stockings left in the room from the last guests. So obviously I cannot give them 5 stars. The hotel breakfast had a good selection and we enjoyed it. The location is far from tourist attractions and unless you want to take a couple of trains to get to a place, you will be taking taxis a lot. But it’s in a safe and pretty neighborhood. There’s a bodega nearby and quite a few restaurants. I would recommend this hotel if you don’t care about tourist attractions.
