Zero flexibility or empathy—Not a 5-star experience
Extremely disappointed with the service here. Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, my partner and I were unable to make our original dates and requested to move our booking. Despite their 5-star status, the hotel flatly refused to assist or offer any flexibility. For a luxury establishment, the customer service is shockingly poor and completely lacking in basic empathy. Would not recommend if you value peace of mind.

Ineffective air conditioning in many rooms
We travelled in March. Temperature in our room was 23-25 degrees. The air conditioning would not reduce the room temperature below this level. We were told the air conditioning was working and this was a reasonable temperature. It seems that the air conditioning was not designed to create lower temperatures in most rooms (and we tried several). After a really unpleasant complaining process, we were given a room with effective air conditioning.

An amazing experience at the Urban Hotel
The urban hotel is very good located, less that 10 min walking from plaza del sol and 10 min driving to the Tran station. The vibe of the hotel is very elegant and cozy. The standard room is big, with an amazing closet where you can fit all your clothes and a sofa to chill or leave your bags. The bathroom has a very nice bathtub to take baths. I think it’s worth it the price for the services that the hotel offers. The hotel and the rooms are extremely clean. On the weekends you can listen a little bit noise from the street but the rest of the days it’s quiet. The service of the hotel is top. The concierge is always pending to take your luggage when you arrive or depart. The people at the front desk are very profesional and helpful. The room service is great and the food is excellent. The breakfast is amazing and the people that works in there is very nice and thoughtful. They take the breakfast to an other level. Also there’s a lot of options and the presentation is super good. And the housekeeping is really good. They left you a rose every day and the bed is excelente done. Also, the mini bar and the water in the room is for free.

Brilliant trip to beautiful Madrid staying at this lovely hotel.
Beautiful hotel with extremely helpful friendly and professional staff at the door, reception, hotel services and the dining room. We had the best time visiting this lovely city and it was so nice to have a lovely hotel to come back to after the days sightseeing.

We have traveled numerous times to Spain's capital city, but this was a unique experience. Hotel Urban is not only a five-star hotel but one that possesses the utmost class. We were handled with service that cannot be fully described, and everywhere we turned there was style and statement. We consider Hotel Urban our home away from home.
