Surrounded by the best its city has to offer, Hotel Urban Madrid is a quiet hotel gem in the midst of the Spanish capital. An eclectic sense of retro chic and exotic flair infuses all its elements, including contemporary public areas and accommodations adorned with Egyptian artworks and private-collection sculptures. Youâ€(TM)ll savor inventive Mediterranean cuisine at Europa Deco Restaurant, a stellar wine list in its lounge, and rooftop dining at the marvelous Summer Restaurant.

This hotel is a small gem in the spanish capital. It is not only placed next to the main museus, it has one of its own, with nice art objects from peoples of Oceania and Asia. Its modern premises are luxurious but very cozy. A starred restaurant and two excellent bars, one at its rooftop. Swimming pool, excellent breakfast, very comfortable, stylish and nice rooms. And, most of all, its staf is excepcionally attentive to our needs and wishes. Professional and lovely. My place to stay in Madrid, no doubt! Have been many times over and look forward to coming back soon! Bravo!

A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Madrid. Walking distance to museums, gardens and cultural attractions. Here are a few examples of the staff's outstanding guest services. They had our room ready when we arrived after a long flight from U.S. at 7:00 AM. That evening a nice bottle of cava, chocolates and a flower showed up as a welcome gift. The front desk got us tickets for an excellent palace tour and also a flamenco show. When we arrived at the flamenco show they host led us to the very best table in the theatre. We have stayed at some excellent hotels (Four Seasons London, Yale Club NYC...) and this level of service is right up there with the best.

Hotel Urban in Madrid is in an unbeatable location—just a stroll from the Prado, upscale shops, and simple tapas places as well as top restaurants. Its elegant interior showcases subtle Asian flair. The service is outstanding. The rooftop bar is nice but does lack any views to speak of.

good location, friendly service and fantastic breakfast but this is where it ends for a 5 star rating. The major issue is the far too small bed which is of poor quality where every movement of your partner can be felt. Rooms are also not soundproof and very noisy. TVs are very old and outdated. All really more of a good 3 star standard. There is potential but some urgent updates are needed.

Great hotel with a great location. Breakfast was amazing and free candy at the front desk. Staff was friendly and offered nightly turn down service as well as access to the complimentary drink bar. Would go to another within the family in future travels.

We have traveled numerous times to Spain's capital city, but this was a unique experience. Hotel Urban is not only a five-star hotel but one that possesses the utmost class. We were handled with service that cannot be fully described, and everywhere we turned there was style and statement. We consider Hotel Urban our home away from home.
