Surrounded by the best its city has to offer, Hotel Urban Madrid is a quiet hotel gem in the midst of the Spanish capital. An eclectic sense of retro chic and exotic flair infuses all its elements, including contemporary public areas and accommodations adorned with Egyptian artworks and private-collection sculptures. You(TM)ll savor inventive Mediterranean cuisine at Europa Deco Restaurant, a stellar wine list in its lounge, and rooftop dining at the marvelous Summer Restaurant.

Stayed here for 4 nights and we had a great experience. Very nice hotel with great location in the heart of Madrid center. The staff working there were all very polite from the moment we arrived until check out. We had a nice quiet room and the roof top was great. Be aware that the pool - or the "pool" is a small one. There were no water in at this time. Also the gym is really not a gym - they did offer some discount at a local gym if wanted.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to Sol, Gran Via, The Prado, Thyssen, Atocha station. Very fine hotel with upscale service and incredibly attentive staff. The original artwork throughout the hotel was great, and the breakfast served was delicious.

I stayed in three hotels in Spain and the Urban was my least favorite. First off, they didn’t have our reserved suite. They “claimed” it was because of the power outage, but this is unlikely. It has been more than a week and we’ve been traveling with no problems until now. I suspect they screwed up and overbooked. They offered a junior suite calling it quiet and large. Well we had no real options so we took it stipulating we wanted to change the next day. The room was the poorest designed room I’ve ever been in. There was only glaring overhead light. One lamp with about a fifteen watt bulb barely glowed. Then to make it worse it was on the central courtyard and dark as a cave. So avoid interior rooms here and the junior suite in particular. That all said, next day they switched us to a suite. It was spacious and bright. Otherwise the breakfast was a bit too formal for me and we only tried it the first morning. The bar was a delight.

Small boutique hotel in the city center, location! Very attentive, friendly and accommodating staff. Very nice bar, terrace and michelling start restaurant on site. Part of Derby small group of hotels, have art exposition across the hotel, some permanent and some rotating, making them special in my view. If you like small discoveries with great service away from large chains, this is a superb choice (Minibar is included and restocked during the day to your liking) Would recommend and stay again in the future.

We loved Hotel Urban! Very cool and stylish hotel in a bustling touristy area in Madrid. The neighborhood is very busy but we were not in Madrid very long so it was the perfect place for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Great restaurants and shopping steps from the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and the service at the hotel was impeccable, everyone treated us so well. We loved the breakfast buffet! Highly recommend booking a rate with the breakfast included, it’s worth it!

We have traveled numerous times to Spain's capital city, but this was a unique experience. Hotel Urban is not only a five-star hotel but one that possesses the utmost class. We were handled with service that cannot be fully described, and everywhere we turned there was style and statement. We consider Hotel Urban our home away from home.
