Madrid was my central “launching pad” for travels elsewhere in Spain & Portugal. The hotel staff were kind & efficient.
Central but very safe location, clean, modern, and extremely comfortable, making my solo stay in this wonderful city even more enjoyable. Everything I could ask for was accommodated and the staff were obliging and friendly. Travelling to meet up with friends and family in other parts of Spain, Portugal and Morocco, I felt comfortable and welcomed back “home” each time I returned from a few days or weeks away.

Good stay for business, staff were brilliant
I stayed here for a couple of nights on business and got an upgrade to a two storey apartment. It needs a bit of an update but was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is in a good location and service was good for the duration of my visit. I needed a very early check out and the team had everything ready for me at 5am for a seamless checkout. I would stay again.

Amazing Madrid boutique hotel
Amazing boutique hotel. Perfect central location in Madrid to walk and explore. The hotel itself is great. The facilities are modern, clean and extremely well kept. However, it is the staff that truly elevates this hotel to beyond 5 stars! From every front desk member, the room cleaning service and the management there is genuine warmth and pleasure to help. A special thank you to Bryam the guest service manager who went above and beyond to make our Madrid stay memorable.

Exceptional and Unique
I chose the hotel mainly because of its convenient location (walking distance from the places I wanted to see in Madrid), because of its reputation for excellent service, and because of its aesthetics. I was not disappointed. In fact, the hotel easily exceeded my expectations. The staff were exemplary--attentive, polite, and helpful with recommendations, bookings, and, when desired, insight into Madrid's culture. Breakfasts were excellent, as were the offerings at the rooftop bar; there was a wide selection of options, some of them unexpected, all of them delicious. The modern ambience of the hotel, together with the southeast Asian art collection, made this a unique and inspiring place to stay. I was sad to leave and look forward to coming back.

Best small hotel in Madrid…
Ideally located, with a chic minimalist decor, a one star Michelin restaurant, professional but warm staff, a great breakfast and quiet comfortable rooms. A small elegant hotel for seasoned travelers who know quality hospitality…bravo Hotel Urban, I will be back 🎈

We have traveled numerous times to Spain's capital city, but this was a unique experience. Hotel Urban is not only a five-star hotel but one that possesses the utmost class. We were handled with service that cannot be fully described, and everywhere we turned there was style and statement. We consider Hotel Urban our home away from home.
