Nice hotel in great location
Great location in the heart of Madrid. Beautiful rooftop pool with full bar / restaurant service. Nice room. As a solo traveler, didn't need the extra upstairs space. Daily room service with amenities replaced. All staff were helpful.

A Hidden Gem
This hotel is conveniently located just off Gran VÃa on a quieter street, which I absolutely loved. It provides easy access to many of Madrid’s top attractions while still offering a more peaceful atmosphere away from the busy main avenue but still close enough for me to walk to some of my favorite restaurants in the area. From the moment I entered the hotel, I was impressed by the unique design and atmosphere. The property feels almost like a museum, with beautiful artwork and unique pieces displayed throughout the hotel. The staff was exceptional from the doorman to the front desk team. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and took the time to explain the hotel’s amenities. As a nice touch, we were even offered a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival. The room itself was fantastic — clean, well organized, and beautifully designed. I really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property, from the hallways to the bathrooms and the overall room design. The hotel has a sophisticated style that makes the entire stay feel like an experience rather than just a place to sleep. During my stay, I was also able to visit the rooftop area and the basement level, which features a museum showcasing a collection of artifacts. These unique spaces added even more character to an already impressive hotel. Overall, this was an excellent stay, and I would gladly return to Hotel Urban on my next visit to Madrid. The combination of the location, incredible design, and outstanding service made this one of my favorite hotel experiences.

Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel with good service and nice rooms. Centrally located, so that most places to visit in Madrid can be reached by foot.

Excellent hotel
Great hotel, very well placed near very good restaurants/tapas and the Grand Via but enough out of the way to be quieter. We had an inward facing junior suite which was great as it was very quiet, we were attending the music festival and not getting back till 3am so sleeping late. Roof top bar was fab with nice selection of food as well. Swimming pool is more of a large plunge pool but nice to spend an hour or so with your toes in the water. Only criticism would be lack of shade on the terrace and pool, lovely place to sit but very little shade which is a real shame as it was way too hot. Special shout out to the door men, always there to help and ever smiling.

We have traveled numerous times to Spain's capital city, but this was a unique experience. Hotel Urban is not only a five-star hotel but one that possesses the utmost class. We were handled with service that cannot be fully described, and everywhere we turned there was style and statement. We consider Hotel Urban our home away from home.
