Hotel Villa Real

The location is perfect for the city overlooking a quiet little square. Staff here are fantastic and helpful. It was my birthday and after checking in I went to my room to discover a lovely handwritten bday message with cake and sparking wine compliments of the hotel. It was a lovely thoughtful touch. Rooms very clean and cosy and quiet. I would recommend this hotel for any stay in Madrid and would definately stay here again.

My wife and I chose Villa Real 5 as Hotel HQ to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary on August 14, 2026. We are Americans and our party of 33 adults and 8 kids (ages 2 to 12) arrived for a Welcome Reception on the 13th. Most of the family also had room reservations for the next several days. Everything about the celebratory weekend was wonderful, starting with the Welcome Reception, due in large part to the wonderful and attentive service provided by the staff of Villa Real. I want to extend our special thanks to three individuals - (1) Inmaculada, with whom I communicated for months leading up to the weekend; (2) Antonia, who greeted us so warmly and led the team that attended to us; and (3) Sandra, who manned the front desk and treated us like royalty throughout the weekend. The hotel is elegant and the rooms are spacious. The location was perfect for our needs - within a short walk to the Prado and Thyssen museums, the Royal Botanical Gardens and Retiro Park. The service was exquisite and the cost was reasonable. Thank you to everyone at Villa Real who contributed to making this celebration very special.

Excellent hotel with a great location. The staff is marvelous and kind, very attentive with everything, the hotel is sparkling clean, the minibar is restocked every day (water, soft drinks, beer) and this is included, is for free. I loved it.

This hotel is in a great location in Plaza las Cortes The rooms are big The have a small living room which you have to go down 3 steps, that might be a problem for some people Mini bar is free with beer and sodas The breakfast is very good and they have a great restaurant on the main floor and a Terrace The personnel are so sweet and helpful

We had an unforgettable week in Madrid and so much of that experience was because we stayed at Villa Real. The staff, our beautiful room, the location, the breakfast.....EVERYTHING!!! Paula and Justyna, at the front desk, were delightful - super helpful, ever so friendly and perfect in every way. And I cannot forget Chris, at the restaurant and bar - he was charming and incredibly diligent. A big thankyou to all the staff at Villa Real for making our stay in Madrid so special and memorable.
