InterContinental Madrid

Truly excellent. At arrival, you are greeted by very friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. Hotel is classic, maybe in the need of a slight uplift, but I wish that if they do it, they don't lose the great spirit and atmosphere. Room is very nice, not quite large, but spotless clean, well equipped, with good amenities, nice view, good working wi-fi and all what you need for a great stay. As an Ambassador Platinum Elite IHG client, had a room with access to the lounge and that was a highlight. Nice lounge, well served, with great staff and excellent for a quiet moment during the day. Whilst my wife was doing some sightseeing I needed to work, decided to do it from the lounge and not the room and was great, staff took great care of me and they were always trying to make me feel comfortable. Location is excellent, in a very busy road, but far enough not to be disturbed by the street noise, assuring a great night sleep. Bed, linens and pillows at the usual Intercontinental Standard. All in all, a great stay in a very good property, which I can definitely recommend !!!!!

Superb stay. Excellent staff. Perfect location walking distance from all shops and main street. Property needs a refurb, but staff are excellent and make the stay like at home. From staff at entrance with Carlos Sanchez, to the bar with Jose y David. Y maravilloso Deyamira Rojas que nos hizo todo en el club super agradable.

My daughter and I were on our first trip to Spain and chose to spend three days at the IC Madrid. (We have status & lounge privileges, which bring benefits). The staff couldn’t have been nicer, especially Deyanira Rojas in the lounge. Out Premium Twin room was very spacious, with a desk and seating area in addition to the comfortable beds. The closet had ample space. The bathroom was generous, with separate toilet/bidet, double sink and bath/shower combo. The only minor problem I noticed was how uneven the floor was. There was never any danger of stumbling, but it was there. We hope to return again soon.

Amazing experience at Intercontinental Madrid. We had access to the Lounge and it made a huge difference for us. The breakfast there is great, and service is outstanding. Heads up to Deyanira Rojas for the amazing treatment.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful! From the front desk, to the restaurant, to housekeeping, everyone is kind and goes out of their way to meet all your needs. I look forward to my stay here for business each time.
