Staff were extremely helpful & courteous throughout our stay. Hotel is to a very high standard. Breakfast was terrific. Location is perfect for central Madrid.

We reported concern over dirty laundry but the hotel said it was chocolate! Either way, it certainly wasn't us, but i suppose a kinder mini bar (in its wrapper) on the side table provided the opportunity to question. See the picture, how can you get drips of chocolate - especially as it appeared to be blood. I don't think you could make a stain like that from chocolate if you tried? the argument made by the hotel is that it can be towel wiped and it comes off. How does that matter to us, the laundry was not soiled by us. We will update the saga Bar that the breakfast was good and the hotel's location is good. it's a shame as the hotel so far has been fine otherwise

Wonderful boutique hotel in quiet location. Staff were extremely helpful & friendly; Loredana, Airo & Dana in particular. Breakfast was excellent also. Beds very comfortable. Location just minutes from key locations & shops. Would highly recommend.

The building is old and beautiful with attendant quirks. I was upgraded thanks to Amex so had probably the most comfortable king bed I’ve ever slept on and a cute Juliet balcony where you can hear church bells. Very charming. The breakfast buffet was quiet a spread and fine with the Amex platinum credit, though many other reviews complained about the price. I went off season so the location was convenient and quiet. About a 5-8 min walk from Sol metro and the famous tio Pepe sign and maybe 10 min from Retiro park. I can see it getting very noisy in the summer, however, given its central location. The gym is barely a hallway. Not really worth visiting. Housekeeping came into my room twice despite my hanging a do not disturb sign on the door. I tried to be understanding the first time but the second was a bit much.

The staff were great and the location was convenient to most everything we explored in Madrid. The breakfast at NH Hotels are always really good and the wait staff very attentive. The rooms were clean, but very hot. We made sure to request a room with a balcony so we could sleep with the windows open. Overall, a great experience and we would come back in the future
