Reviews for NH Collection Madrid Paseo del Prado

Great Location and Access to Everything in Madrid

Great hotel, staff, location and amenities. Easy base camp to jump off and see the city and/or the countryside for day trips.

Nice hotel overall

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I stayed in 3 NH Collection properties during my travels in Europe. I loved the location of this one in Madrid and all the breakfast buffets are amazing. So much selection and great food. However, the beds in all 3 locations were very hard. Some were better than others, but none were very comfortable. Maybe it is an American thing, but I can't imagine anyone likes the hard boards that these mattresses felt like. It is only because of this that I likely won't return to an NH hotel.

2 Star

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

There is NO way this is a 5 star hotel. The one good thing it has going for it is location…one block from Prado Museum, walking distance to good restaurants. The hotel itself is average at best…a 2 star for quality…no lobby to meet friends or sit to read…can’t get drinks at restaurant charged to the room. Employees were efficient and friendly but I won’t stay there again

Be cautious

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Limited staff in Bar. May have to wait awhile for a drink. They can't exchange smaller bills for 50 Euro. Bathroom has a large tub so if that is an issue for you to climb in may not be the place for you. Also don't ever make the mistake of leaving a few shirts in the closet. They will charge you hundreds to mail back.

Great hotel

Great hotel to stay in. The breakfast is amazing and the staff makes the best cafe con leche I’ve ever tasted.
