Only You Hotel Atocha

We have stayed here before and Only You is a delightful property. The Atocha location can’t be beat- a quick walk to Retiro Park or to the three big museums in Madrid (El Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen). The metro and train station is also very close and convenient. There is a fantastic breakfast on the 7th floor and the lobby restaurant is also very convenient. We did not try the sushi and heard it was great. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. We used the gym’s water cooler to fill up our water bottles. On a previous visit we enjoyed live music on the rooftop in the evening. We did not hit the right night this time and worth asking! This was a special occasion trip for 2 weeks and my husband let the hotel know in advance. The entire staff were so kind and treated us so nicely, perfect bookend nights for a very romantic trip. We will be happy to return!

A nearby metro station adds further convenience. Many of Madrid’s top attractions are within easy walking distance, including the Museo del Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, Museo Reina Sofía, El Retiro Park, and Real Jardín Botánico. Meanwhile, iconic squares like Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol are just a few metro stops away—placing you close to the action while still enjoying a comfortable distance from the city’s busiest crowds. The hotel also features the excellent rooftop restaurant Séptima, offering great food alongside sweeping city views. Whether traveling for business or leisure, as a couple or with family, Only YOU Hotel Atocha is an outstanding choice—combining design, service, and location into a truly memorable stay.

Perfectly located hotel near the train station - exactly what we wanted. It’s easy to also get to the airport from here. Nice hotel, rooms are well designed and equipped and had everything we wanted. Nice bar in reception and also nice to bar on the roof (which is nice to sit in on the evening). Does the little things well - including have sweets available for free at reception - only a small thing but always nice
