They Weren't Ready For Us and No Muesli!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We arrived a little later than our anticipated 4pm, but our suite still wasn't ready. Reception said that it was clean but still needed "checking". This took another hour. We had booked a suite connecting with another bedroom, but were given a suite near another bedroom instead. No explanation was given for these failings. Our second room had a slightly badly fitting door to its balcony looking out to the road, leading to minor noise problems. It was a great view. Breakfast was quite good overall, but there was no muesli! It's a long time since I've stayed anywhere that doesn't offer muesli, or at least granola or something similar. For me that was a major failing and I would have brought my own if I'd known. Apart from that, the hotel was very good. Curiously I found the bellboys spoke better English than the reception. The location is excellent. The dome has been restored to excellent condition.

Five star service!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I stayed at the palace for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday. I absolutely loved every bit of my stay, and will definitely return anytime i am in Madrid. Every hotel staff was polite, warm, and welcoming. From my check in I knew I made a great choice in staying there. The front desk made me feel welcomed from the start and ensured i had a room i would love. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious, and the overall design is timeless. The location was also central and most things i wanted to do was walking distance . Checkout was also just as amazing as my check in. 5/5 stars truly a lovely experience. Very happy with my stay.

Beautiful Hotel

This hotel was top notch and very central to everything we wanted to see. Everything is walkable. I would say if you need to do laundry, we found a place that did it for us for only $14 Euros and it saved us time, so we can continue site seeing. It’s called Launderette Cervantes- address is Calle de Leon, 6, Madrid.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. It was in a good location to walk to most museums and attractions that Madrid has to offer. Inside is absolutely gorgeous.

Just returned from 5 night stay in junior suite at Westin Palace Madrid. Breakfasts were excellent as was the dinner. The front desk was very helpful, room comfortable, spacious and well equipped with luxury bath and delightful bed. Service outstanding. Overall, a first class hotel in Madrid. Five nights was just the right amount of time to see Madrid and surrounding sights. This was an excellent value through LL.

My husband and I traveled to Madrid this year and had booked a room at the Westin Palace for three nights. They put us on the special VIP guest floor in a spacious deluxe room with a magnificent marble bathroom and view of the city. If that wasn't enough, they also included a sumptuous breakfast buffet!

The Westin Palace, Madrid, was grand and our accommodations pure luxury. And their dining room served the best roast lamb in town.

I can't say enough about the Westin Palace Hotel-Madrid in Spain. Everything was superb. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I thought that the service was first-rate. Throw in perfect weather like I had and you have the ultimate Madrid experience.
