Palacio de los Duques, a Gran Melia Hotel

This is a beautiful hotel with well-trained, professional and friendly staff. We stayed in their Standard room and it was well-appointed and roomy enough for the two of us. The accommodations were spotless. The Rooftop Lounge has a spectacular view and is a lovely venue, but it does get very crowded and can only accommodate a limited number of guests. The hotel location is steps to the Palace, Opera and a short walk to the Gran Via. Highly recommend this facility as an upscale, luxury accommodation.

Amazing hotel. Room was large and well-maintained. Staff are amazing, especially Ms. Delfina in Red Level. Super friendly and helpful from the getgo. She offered us espresso and cold water, follow by clean towel to freshen up. She checked us in early with an immaculate room. She provided helpful tip on where to visit and dine at. Every morning she checked on my family and I to see we were comfortable and tended to. Having Red Level, we were provided amazing breakfast, as well as snacks and drinks throughout the day. We were quite pampered. Overall, amazing experience there, especially with the help of Ms. Delfina.

It’s an exceptionally hotel. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. They make you feel very special, treat you like royalty. We’re coming back for sure. The stay in Madrid is phenomenal because of our stay at the hotel. ‘Will recommend it to my friends.

One of the best hotels I stayed at in Europe at mid to mid-high price range. Location was convenient, room was comfortable, roomy and clean. Beds were comfortable and showers had good pressure and were rather modern. Breakfast food and red lounge choices were outstanding! Courtyard for breakfast was awesome, I was looking forward to spending my time there every day - enjoying my coffee for half an hour before other family members were finally ready to come down for breakfast. All staff were very friendly and super helpful. Red lounge drink and snack selections were outstanding in comparison to what I experienced in other locations. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Had access to room with drinks and snacks available during the day! Welcome relief from the sun! Location was amazing. Buffet breakfast and a la carte options. Pool on roof - a little compact but still got a use out of it.
