Beautiful hotel, check-in times iffy
Beautiful, modern hotel in a central location. Deducted one point because room wasn’t ready at 3pm check-in time and we learned of its availability at 5pm.

Very helpful staff and great stay
We had a great stay at Thompson Madrid. I wanted to mention the attentiveness of the staff. At the breakfast restaurant Inma, Aron and manager Claudia has been especially helpful and always ready to make sure we had a great experience.

Perfect spot for a memorable stay!
Exceeded expectations! Incredible place, wonderful staff! Drinks, food was good. Pool a bit crowded. Overall, highly recommend!!

Great experience with Thompson Madrid
Staying at Thompson Madrid was a great experience as a World of Hyatt member. As a Globalist, we were upgraded to a bigger suite and we really enjoyed the space and the outdoor deck. The decor was modern and the room was very clean. We especially like the shower as the controls were fantastic! Wish we can have the same thing at home. The breakfast was really good with great taste and lots of selections. The restaurant also offers good view so you can see the skyline of Madrid. The staff and customer service were great though we had some issues during check in. We were supposed to check in early but our room wasn't ready and it took a long time. As we were exhausted due to the travel and jetlag, the staff offered us another room for us to temporarily stay so we could refresh ourselves and get some rest. That was very considerate and we really appreciated it! Overall, Thompson Madrid is a great hotel at the center of the center in Madrid. It's convenient to go anywhere within Madrid. We will definitely stay again whenever possible

Great location and the walkability to center of city was convienient. The rooms were great and the bed was phenomenal. Sheets, towels and pillows, all 5 star. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming.
