Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare

Our stay at Kempinski Seychelles was truly exceptional. The overall quality of the services exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the professionalism of the staff to the immaculate facilities, everything reflected the highest standards of hospitality. We chose the half-board option, and it was absolutely worth it. Every dinner was a culinary experience — beautifully presented, diverse, and of outstanding quality. The atmosphere, the flavors, and the attention to detail made each evening special. A special congratulations to the pastry chef — the desserts were simply extraordinary. Creative, refined, and perfectly balanced in taste, they were the highlight of our dining experience. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to return.

A super experience, the beach - idyllic, food first rate every day, all staff polite, cheerful and going out of their way to help I travel a lot ! A really 5 star experience

We arrived to a warm welcome at the hotel, given a drink and told to wait to be checked in. After a long journey, we were disappointed to be left waiting for around three quarters of an hour to be checked in. There only seeemed to be one person doing the job and was rushing around trying to do it all. However, when we entered our accommodation we found it had a lot of space and was clean and comfortable. We had the garden rooms with a sea view which had our own sun beds which was a plus. The grounds were beautiful and enormous. There was a big lake and a beautiful sandy bay together with plenty of shady areas overlooking the sea. The restaurants were good. There was the main restaurant offering different theme nights for every day of the week and the food was amazing. The breakfast was served in this restaurant as well, and there was plenty of choice. We both really enjoyed the food in the hotel. There was a beach restaurant as well, which also had a nice menu with inside and outside ares to eat, outside overlooking the sea. The staff were all very friendly and we began to feel quite at home by the end of the holiday. There was also a tapas bar on the upper level of the hotel, very colonial looking and overlooking the pool and the sea in the distance. It was altogether a lovely stay there, we came away wishing that we could have stayed longer. We would love to return!

Beautiful hotel and location, but it really needs to work in the quality of the service. The location, the beach, the physical layout of the hotel are very impressive. It has its problems in that some rooms are 1/2 mile away from the restaurants and reception. They offer a buggy to take you there and pick you up but it takes time, up to 20 minutes, and walking in the heat to go to dinner is a poor option as you arrive at the restaurant sweaty, not good. The service at the reception and restaurants was very poor. 30 minutes to get a drink at the bar, 20 minutes to get coffee at breakfast, 1 hour to get a hamburger at lunch…the quality of the food and drinks was good, but by the time they serve it, you are already upset. The famous “lady in red” that is supposed to be in charge of quality and service is rude, and not ready to help. We payed for 2 nights but the key wouldn’t work after the first night and we were locked out of the room until we managed to find a hotel employee to get us a key that worked. All of this half a mile from reception. It is not likely that we’ll go back to Mahe, but i hear that there are better alternatives.

It is a beautiful place, we had an amazing stay! I am really happy with the SPA and especially Zoi , I had 3 different sessions with her and I loved it!
