We stayed here for two weeks and enjoyed our time here. The beach is beautiful and clear water. Be careful walking barefoot on the beach. There are bees lying on the sand. As it’s very humid there are lots of mussels on the ground just walking. So the nature here is prospering. We liked the service here, spacious and clean rooms.

We stayed here twice during our recent visit to the Seychelles. We chose this hotel specifically for the great location: close to Beau Vallon Beach and close to shops and restaurants. First impressions were great. The hotel is quite large, but not overwhelmingly so. Grounds are kept up beautifully and integrate nicely into the landscape. During our first stay we were upgraded to a Junior Suite. The suite was very spacious and has a huge balcony. It is very closely located to the pool and the entrance to the beach. It is further from the lobby and restaurant though. If you book a Junior Suite you will also get pre reserved tables at breakfast, which is a nice perk. During our second stay we stayed in the entry level room in the main building and were happy with that as well. Just like the Junior Suite it has a big bathroom, a walk in closet and a nice balcony. Both rooms were clean and well furnished, beds were fantastic and they were very quiet. For me the only real reason to book a Junior Suite, would be the convenient location, as it is just steps from the beach. Breakfast was fantastic here. They had a different selection each day, with a good variety of local and international cuisine. Service at breakfast was very attentive and efficient. We also ordered room service one day and it arrived quickly and was very good. The one are in which we see a bit of room for improvement is the service. Service during our two stays varied quite a lot. Restaurant staff during breakfast were absolutely lovely and so attentive. Female checkin personnel was also great and very helpful. Some of their male counterparts seemed rather disorganized and uninformed at times. Not really a huge problem, but definitely annoying when you're on holiday: communication with guest relations was a mess. We booked transfers from/to the airport and ferry port WITH the hotel prior to our arrival. Despite this we were asked several times throughout our stay via Whatsapp when we were planning on checking out or in. Even when I referenced our pre booked transfers to guest relations I was still asked by the same person a few days later about our checkout. Seriously... check your records bevor approaching the guest. It felt disorganized and inefficient. Aside from that we had a fantastic stay here both times and can't recommend this hotel enough. The location can't be beat, the rooms are great even in the entry level category and service staff is absolutely fantastic.

Unfortunately, our stay at Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa on Mahé ended with a very serious and deeply upsetting incident. On the day of departure, while waiting for our transfer, I left my belongings in the hotel’s luggage room for approximately 40 minutes. During that time, my family and I went for a short walk to the beach. When I later arrived home, I discovered that an envelope inside my backpack, which had contained USD 5,000, had been opened and the money had been replaced with folded napkins of approximately the same thickness as the banknotes. I am confident about where the envelope was placed because I personally packed the backpack on the day of departure and clearly remember which compartment I put it in. That compartment is not convenient to access while the backpack is being carried or kept next to me, and it would be practically impossible for someone to open it discreetly, remove the envelope, take the money, and replace it with napkins without direct access to the bag. The same applies to the airport: we were not stopped for any luggage inspection, and the backpack remained with me and in sight throughout the journey. The only period when the backpack was not with me and I could not see what was happening to it was during the approximately 40 minutes it was stored in the hotel luggage room. What makes this incident especially disturbing is that the money was not simply removed. It was deliberately replaced with napkins, apparently so that the envelope would still feel full and the loss would not be noticed immediately. Unfortunately, this worked — when I collected the backpack from the luggage room, I did not open the envelope to check its contents. After discovering the loss, I contacted a representative of the hotel, manager Sergey. I asked the hotel to help investigate the situation and provide CCTV footage, but the footage was not provided to me. At the same time, I was informed by the hotel that, according to their information, no one had entered the luggage room during that period. This incident completely changed my impression of the hotel. Regardless of who exactly was responsible, the situation raises extremely serious concerns about the security of guests’ belongings while they are stored by the hotel, as well as about the transparency of the subsequent investigation. For a hotel of this level, I would expect much stronger control, accountability, and security around luggage storage. I cannot recommend leaving valuables or personal belongings unattended at this property, even in an official hotel luggage room.

The most amazing resort. Andri from guest relations arranged our tours, many treats for my daughters birthday, he was so attentive and amazing. Elmo welcomed us warmly and checked us out and introduced us to the resort. Disu and Rasel kept our room stocked and clean. Ashok served us well at the pool area. Humphrey food and beverage manager ensured with his team that we had the best breakfast and that my daughter had many spoils for her birthday. The resort is beautiful, the room is huge and full of supplies, the spa was such a treat, great Balinese massage, the location of the resort is perfect. It felt like home. We didn’t want to leave. Hip Hip hooray team Savoy Beau Vallon. Awesome 🤩
