The hotel is good, nicely located close to the beach and in a lively district with plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has good facilities but..... I have never bn treated so badly. I was going to stay 14 nights...on arrival, on a Saturday, i was asked to settle the whole bill in advance. I think it was close to 5000 usd. perhaps 4500. my us credit card has a limit of 5000 usd. because i had already partially utilized the credit, I could only pay for 13 nights. I offered to settle the last night later on during my stay. They did not let me in for 30m. They insisted I used another credit card which i did not want to. I had to threaten them to go to another hotel. But this is not the end of it. I settled the credit card balance but somehow due to weekend the payment is only recorded on Monday. On Monday when I went to settle the last night I learnt that they had disabled my key. A colleague also had a bad experience. After 14 nights he was planning to leave the room at 2 pm. At 1130 am they called him and warned him that due to late check out he was going to be charged 50 euro for late check out. I am sorry but I cannot tolerate this behaviour. I was recently in Luanda. 5* hotel. I warned them that after 14 nights I would have left the room at 245 pm; simple answer: Sir, no problem.

What a wonderful hotel amongst beautiful grounds. Positives: Natural feel with lots of plants and trees Large rooms Amazing huge pool Friendly staff Leave luggage and use hotel if you have a late flight Right next the beach Near lots of restaurants and cafes Negatives: I’ve had much better breakfasts in other 4* and 5* hotels Hot drink service at breakfast was slow (often had to chase) Expensive drinks and food Kids camp is geared towards young children and have confusing rules

I’m sharing this review based on our honeymoon in Seychelles (August 2025), where we spent three weeks exploring Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue. Everything below reflects what I wish I had known before booking. Savoy Seychelles Pros • Stunning location right on Beau Vallon Beach. • Complimentary beach loungers available for guests. • Plenty of sunbeds around the pool area. • Large, clean pool towels provided daily. • Excellent poolside service—quick drinks and tasty poolside food. • Pool restaurant offers delicious seafood and Chinese dishes. • Gecko Beach Bar serves great casual options like Mexican, pizzas, and burgers. • Grande Savoy restaurant has a wide variety of evening buffet options. • Adults-only pool near the spa for a quieter experience. • On-site tennis courts and a wide range of spa treatments available. • Free beach equipment, including life vests, paddleboards, and canoes. • Free pool equipment like floats and noodles. • Rooms cleaned to an immaculate standard every day. • Staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. • Honeymoon package was a lovely touch, including a decorated bedroom, congratulations cake and wine, plus a complimentary beach breakfast. • Special mention to Armia (Guest Relations/Hotel Manager), who was extremely helpful and easy to reach via WhatsApp. Cons • This is a family-friendly resort, so it may not feel peaceful if you’re looking for an adults-only vibe. • In the Grande Savoy restaurant, vegetarian dishes aren’t clearly labelled, which can be confusing. • The buffet area had a lot of fruit flies, particularly around the fresh food stations. • Service in the Grande Savoy restaurant was inconsistent—long waits to order drinks, followed by slow delivery once ordered.

The hotel is in a fabulous location. It has modern and good facilities that are kept to a good standard. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. With a little bit of extra attention here there this could be a genuine five star review for a quality five star hotel. However, despite my positive comments I felt that this was a premium four star hotel. In part because the little touches including certain standards like breakfast were a little bit short of what you would normally expect, but I am well travelled and can be a bit fussy. The breakfast initially was a little bit disappointing but did improve after a few days. I did know so I’m walking the floor making comments to staff about how to do things like the differently and things they pick up thereafter. On a few occasions, we did get a note where we were staying in our block about an event that was to finish in the early hours of the morning and apologising in advance for any inconvenience. Whilst not this was a hotel the noise was actually very loud and wasn’t from people leaving the event but from the music from the event itself. This is unfortunate for people staying in that block as I was. However, the hotel were very accommodating and moved our stay for the evening on the next event whilst maintaining our existing room with all our possession still in it. I pick this hotel over other quality hotels on the island based on its location and the fact that there are other outlets and restaurants of interest in the local area. That aspect was absolutely the perfect decision and the beach and it service with a hotel is exceptional.

Absolutely rude room manager (Sergey). While checking in we were cooperative when they gave us the room at 3:30pm even though I had small kids, but while checking out we were not even informed of the check out time being 11pm, once they informed us we tried to hurry it up and asked for sometime, then Sergey mentions that it doesnt MATTER to him that we got a late check in and we need to get out right away. There are better ways to communicate to guests.
