NOT A 5 STAR RESORT! Savoy Hotel and Spa offers a fantastic beachfront location on Mah-minutes from the airport, and near the city. The rooms are large, with nice balconies and views, and they provide L'Occitane amenities, a big swimming pool, and a minibar that's topped up regularly. But that's where the positives end. This is not a 5-star resort by global standards. I've stayed at Four Seasons and Regent properties, and Savoy falls dramatically short. The rooms were not clean, the linen was worn out, and the pillows were rock-hard. When I asked for a feather pillow, I got foam-and it smelled musty. Only one small, scratchy towel per person was provided. There's a kitchenette, but no crockery, no dish soap, no cloths. I had to clean dishes with bathroom towels and hand soap! The worst aspect was the food. We mistakenly booked half board (which they require full payment for at check-in). The buffet was school-cafeteria quality at best. Bland food, frozen ingredients, even moldy fruit. When I complained, management promised to refund EUR2,000 for the unused meals-but at checkout, nothing was deducted. Instead, we were forced to pay for extras and even blocked from leaving the property until we did. I still have no written confirmation of the refund. Absolutely unacceptable. This stay left us feeling cheated and disillusioned. A EUR20,000 experience that felt more like a scam than a holiday.

We had a fantastic experience at Savoy Resort & Spa. The property is beautiful, but what truly made our stay special was the incredible team. A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Sujith Surendran, the General Manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. His hospitality was exceptional—Savoy is lucky to have him. Also, a big thank you to Iman from Guest Relations for being so helpful and friendly, and to Sergey, the Rooms Division Manager, who was equally professional and attentive. Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Seychelles!

"All inclusive" is misleading, it is not all inclusive, at least regarding the drinks, is very annoying to be mentioned to us everytime that pink gin is not included (only dry gin), or if you want a large beer, is not included, they have to give you 2 small beers, if you had lunch and kids want a portion of chips in between lunches, they will ask you to pay ... I'm quite sure the amount we paid for "All Inclusive" is way above to what we used ... it's stressing to be made aware every single time what you can have and what you cannot. We went there to relax and enjoy

The hotel is super nice, very clean and comfortable, made it hard for us to leave it. Especially the staff is amazing we only encountered super friendly faces that made every wish possible, especially helpful when being pregnant. The highlight was the private breakfast at the beach, Tess took very good care of us and made this a very special morning. When we visit the Seychelles, we will definitely and without a question visit the Savoy again! :)

Love the gecko bar! Sushil treated us well. We are a family taking a family holiday. Rooms very comfortable and service is great. Costs are good. Food is good. Live entertainment in gecko bar was nice. Breakfast each morning was fantastic and tasty. The tv in the room could be a bit better, but not a big negative to be honest.
