Hyatt Regency Mainz

This hotel was probably the best out of six European hotels we stayed in during our 11 day vacation. It's location on the river was lovely. It incorporated the city's history by connecting the hotel to a historical building. The breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had plenty of amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not have any noise issues in our room or anytime during our stay in the hotel.

The best place to stay in Mainz! Trust me. Breakfast on the water and the walk outside are absolutely lovely and the customer service is polite and friendly. I enjoyed every bit of it! Close to a train station too which is a big plus! Rewe super market is steps away so are bike rentals. You can't go wrong with this place! Designer coffee in room and luxurious robes and slippers along with a large tub AND a separate shower. I always trust Hyatt with my hotel stays. Their quality is at another level and they just get it.

The hotel is tried and not up to usual Hyatt standard Lack of concierge is a major drawback in a city which has much to offer Smell of drains in my room Poor quality coffee

Large, beautiful and clean hotel with a beautiful view of the river. However, they could take better care of their guests when the plumbing renovation is underway, as some rooms had an unbearable smell from the bathroom.

Norman treated us with utmost respect and like family. Our brief stay was great. Nick and all the front counter staff were great! Thank you Hyatt Regency Mainz!!
