Hyatt Regency Mainz

A wonderful stay at a prime location with stunning views. The food was excellent, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout.

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the river with spacious rooms and a nice bathtub. The pool was not available due to renovation and I am disappointed that the staff did not offer a credit as the purpose of booking the hotel so that my son could use the pool. The basic breakfast cost of 17 euro (croissant and coffee) was too expensive and I was charged full price for my 11 year old son’s basic breakfast

The location was good and the atmosphere was good as well. The room was fine and the value was ok for the brand level. The room was also clean as well. My only qualm was there was absolutely no air conditioning whatsoever and I had to keep the window open day and night. It was fine, but if people below were smoking it definitely came up. Outside of that the food was good along with the room service.

Beautiful merging of historical and modern design elements. Very pleasant treats, like fruit corner at the entrance, flavored water always available. Spotless cleanliness. Spectacular breakfast!

Hyatt Regency Mainz is a well-located hotel overlooking the Rhine, set in a pleasant area that is ideal for walking, with the city center reachable in about ten minutes on foot. The property features a modern, business-oriented style. While not recently built, it maintains a clear identity and a good overall standard. Rooms are slightly above average in size and offer a comfortable stay. The bed is a strong point, ensuring excellent sleep quality. The bathroom is spacious and functional, and the river view is particularly appealing. Cleanliness is acceptable, though it could be improved for a hotel of this category. Service is good, with friendly and helpful reception staff and a generally attentive team. Breakfast offers a wide variety with a good overall level, although it lacks particularly distinctive elements. The hotel also features a good spa, a well-equipped gym and spacious restaurant and bar areas that invite guests to relax. The food offering is also solid. The atmosphere is mainly business-oriented, yet suitable for leisure stays as well. Prices are fair and aligned with the overall offering. Overall, a well-positioned and functional hotel, with several strong points but still some room for improvement in the details.
